I hope so too. But I doubt it. Eli's got the job until the team says so. Giants are my team too. Them and the Texans.

I believe they were jokingly hoping that Eli sprains an ankle and can't play all year in the hopes that the rookie QB has to play the entire season. At least, that's how I understood it. :D

I hope he makes it as well. Rhett is a good kid and a good qb. Yes he made some very questionable decisions, but we all have at some point in our lives. I hope he takes full advantage of the opportunity and really can learn the NFL game and hopefully someday run his own team.

Rhett is a quality kid. I hope he plays on Sundays ( and Mondays and Thursdays and sometime on Saturday's - as my wife would say):)

They'd be crazy not to carry him. The kid has all the tools and displayed alot of resiliency coming through the situation at Zero U.

don't worry, we have david carr to start all 16 games next year if eli goes down. we're in great hands...;)
