Really only float the Comal now that I live here. Much better of a float and the river has a constant flow. We usually float at least one day a week after work. People love Ice Ice Baby on the river???

Really only float the Comal now that I live here. Much better of a float and the river has a constant flow. We usually float at least one day a week after work. People love Ice Ice Baby on the river???

Too many snakes in the Comal for my liking... I prefer the more populated river. I guess when people are sloshed in 90 degree heat they'll like Rick Astley too... Do you have a cooler with some speakers?

I have only ever seen 2 snakes in the Comal and they were going the other direction. Actually saw a big *** snake on the Guad Mother's day weekend when we were camping at Lazy L&L. Yes, I built a little radio cooler that meets the river Nazi's regs. Has two 85W Sony speakers, Sony marine stereo with audio in (run my old IPOD in a waterproof case), and a gel cell jet ski battery all tucked into a 16qt Igloo cooler. Works like a champ and gets plenty loud if need be.

No one floats the Guad at Rebecca Creek so you're bound to see more snakes in that area. I've yet to see a rattler though... I'd probably piss my pants. Hell... I freak out when I see a stick moving in the water...

i remember my cuz almost got his hands bit off from (what looked like a) 8 foot gar when he was washin his hands in the Arroyo past Circle X from a boat.
