My good friend Southlake Thug has been framed! An immature kid logged onto his computer the other day and posted on his name some vulgar language toward other posters. If you know thug at all you know this is not characteristic of him at all so I believe his 5a membership should be reinstated. This is a petition to bring him back... Its Chrsitmas he deserves a second chance!

The KT's edited DragonCrew06's post, but part of it is still in there a couple posts later. Sounds like he could make good friends with SeguinMatadors!:p

As for Southlake Thug, I'd have to know what he said or was credited for before I petition for him to come back. I've seen him get upset at other posters and need more evidence before I vote. What happened and what was said? You can PM me if you want to.

I am with you on all of that except "the great wide". Bring him back. I know one time I had a friend over and I was in the shower he was on my computer.. he went to my favorites and went to this message board and thought it would be funny to make an *** out of me. Lucky for me it was late at night and he let me know so I could edit it before anyone got to look at it.. or at least I hope no one got to look at it. Things happen.

There were a couple f bombs dropped and that's why the ban happened. Sure fire way to have that happen. I don't know if someone else got on his username or not. That wouldn't be the first time we've heard that from a poster, but it obviously is possible if other people are using your comp. We have no way of knowing that though.

Lesson= remember to log out if you aren't the only one who uses your comp or can't trust others who might use your PC to behave. If thug sends and e-mail explaining what happened, I'll definitely consider lifting the ban.

Or just go far enough to secure your login; perhaps delete the cookies or change password or maybe make sure don't leave screen unattended; tell no one secure stuff; ie far enough to no longer sound a victim. There's enough there to maintain the assets, avoid acting out of deficit side; same for us all.

like i said - you banned me publicly -- had people calling me a racist as a result and now you have no reason for it. if it is a process that must be done you should have a reason -- and the apology should have been public so i dont have people like wide calling me a racist.

It was an interesting read when I looked at Ice's official website. He talks about how they molded him in an image and he hated it. He got rich, but hated life, used drugs, and tried to commit suicide. He says he's true to his roots and feelings now and doesn't care if he makes a lot of money in music.

FWIW- Just as a final note on how the bannings work, I enter in a reason when the ban happens. You should either receive that in e-mail or see it when you attempt to log in. Not sure exactly how that works because I've never created an account and given a "test ban."

IMP44...look at it this way: was the message you sent the message received? It's called perception and evereybody is entitled to it. Everybody has a different perception and you need to be careful how it may be perceived. Everybody is not your relative who understands how you mean it. They just hear the words and don't see the expressions attached to it. Sensitivity is not black and white, we cannot see beyond these screens.

there is a very easy way for the Admins to go into the AdminCP options and prevent anyone from ever dropping an F Bomb ever again. It's the banned word list. Very easy to set up. Just ban any curse word you want and the F bomb shows up as ****.
