Will the Lions ever be able to compete with Lufkin if that area continues to grow?

Is the school district growing? Find that very hard to believe - they need to make a serious run at the 3a level first.

Livingston is 4A and lost to 4A D2 finalist Dayton in a pretty (close) ballgame in bi-district...Longview and Dayton were the finalist in there respected 4a div... and Longview always plays Lufkin even...Could be a tougher match up than Lufkin folks want to admit if Livingston continues to grow .. But Lufkin is still the team by far in the area...
