View Full Version : i tried to pay my ticket

online but when I searched my name and DL number, there were no results found. But I'm sitting here looking at the ticket and on the back it says I can go to www.sanantonio.gov to pay my ticket...

so now I have to wait until Monday to call the courthouse and find out why it's not on there and see how else I can pay it without 1. going down to the courthouse and 2. sending a check (i don't use checks)

ugh.

Easiest solution: don't get speeding tickets! :mad:

Look at the date....make sure it says 2009. Happened to me once. Got a ticket In October of 06......court date set for December.....I go to court, sit there, my name was never called.......it was set for December 07. Nice little trick to get you to forget and then they put a warrant out for your arrest.

Na man the date is 29 May 2009!

The only thing I can think is that the cop hasn't entered it but IDK because I got the ticket March 17th :confused:

i just wanna get this $170 nuisance out of the way :(


at least I didn't pass a stopped school bus...642 bucks!


OH BTW if the person who made the SAPD tickets reads this, you put "Passing Stopped Sphool Bus" .....

It's all RG's fault. She knows alot of Cops in SA and has set out to get you. Unless you pay up with her, the paying of anything in SA will not happen. She controls you and D08. Admit it. Your done. Everyone from Big D & H-Town is coming to see you in orange.

In germany speeding tickets arent bad i got a ticket for 45 KPH(~30 mph) over and anly paid a 25 euro(~40 dollars) fine

They rather just get you to pay the ticket...Arresting you involves to much paper work.

the oversight is just the inescapable stupidity of Government at its best.


What he needs to do is look up the ticket under his Drivers license no... Not his social or birth date.

The only way you can do it is to put your Name and DL#

I was doing 20 over but cop only wrote it for 10 over

Yeah that would be nice until I get a warrant...lol. The do their "Warrant Roundups" around here very often

It was nice of the policeman to knock off some mph. Must have been that sweet, innocent face. . . . .or he just felt sorry for you.

I'm not sure why, must have been because I was nice. 80 in a 60, but wrote down to 70...I didn't complain about getting the ticket, I said "Thank you, have a safe night" after he handed it to me and said "I only wrote it for 70"

I've had 3 warning tickets for speeding over the last 7 years-----all when returning rrom playoff games. One near Luling exit, one near Devine exit and one outside of Columbus.

Next time, just let the cop kick you in the head, then maybe he wont write you a ticket at all.

Yea defensive driving or probation is bettering than paying for the full ticket and having it on your record.

They do that because 11+ requires more paperwork on their part because of the heftier fines.

You can only take Defensive Driving like once every year or 6 months or something. I'm not eligible. I WOULD try for deferred adjudification or w/e but I cannot make the court date because of work so I was just going to pay the ticket. I am going to call the courthouse tomorrow since I have the day off and see what I can do. I only have til the 29th!!!
