Poppy - what years are you talking about dude? This year is over - unless you're talking about next year - then it would be next year and the following year - or something like that. You're a riot Poppy.

Is McElroy solid on his TT commitment? I thought I read someplace that he was still considering Alabama.

The inside scoop from thug was that he wants somewhere that can challenge him acadmically. He's second guessing the quality of education he'll receive at Tech. Among other possible choices are Alabama and Stanford (again, this is from thug)

It is still a little early for this. As of right now he has a solid verbal to TT. But alot can change from now until Feb. He will be at the Cotton Bowl cheering to TT, but even if he doesn't want to admit it, he will be watching Bama.

If you were to rate those three schools academically - it would be:
1) Stanford
2) TTech
3) Alabama

Tech is far superior to Alabama academically - no contest.

Yeah I don't know to much bout 'Bama education. But I do know Tech is deff. increasing the requirements to get in.

Either way, Stanford is clearly the best.

Rumors around town have Gregg seriously looking at Alabama. Maybe he doesn't want to sit like he did at SLC. Look at Tech, the run lately has been sit for 3-4 and play 1. Graham Harrell is also there. Maybe he's waiting to see if Dodge is going to Rice. Wish him well. He had a great year. Wonder how many more TD's and yards he could have if Dodge hadn't played a bit of nepotism?

I've seen the kid play and he is very talented. I'm not doubting his talent, but is he tough enough for the SEC. That is no doubt the toughest conference in the nation. Maybe he and Stafford would face each other??? Would be great to see him in the SEC.

Id like to see him and Benoist play each other.

That would be classic. I am a big McElroy supporter, but it would be ****** to see Benoist sack him.

Either way, McElroy is winning the Heisman. So I don't really care.
