Looked to me like the cop laid a weak shot on him most likely due to the "run" from his car. If I were the cop I would have caught my breath and tried again. The guy was a criminal that was running from the police and could have killed any number of innocent people in the process.

First of all that wasn't a "gangster" he looked like a hoodlum rat. Second of all... to me it looked like the cop was trying to do him a favor when he kicked his head... his brain didn't seem to be functioning correctly so the cop was trying to give his brain a kick start...

Cop deserves to lose his job AND face criminal charges.

It wasn't right, but I would have done it.
Its punks like that who get drunk and kill your 21 year old...or stay sober and kill even more. Deserved the kick in the face, and I'd fight to have that officer stay on the force...
Driving on a sidewalk filled with pedestrians...what a :Censor:ing punk.

IF the police ever have to chase you hopefully for your mom's sake they won't THINK you have a gun. For the record, I feel like the cop was wrong for kicking him in the head but I certainly don't blame him nor would I punish him for it.

Don't plan on ever being chased by the cops. However, I dont condone criminal cops. He should be prosecuted and lose his job.... just as anyone else. Luckily there was a camera to catch his actions.

I do agree. He had given up and was on the ground. Now if he was up and still trying to get away, then its a different story.

Maybe we should protect the cops better by say cutting off the foot of any criminal that resists arrest. Next time he wouldn't have to worry about getting kicked in the head.

Maybe we should protect THE PUBLIC by allowing the boys in blue to just open up on any dumba** running away from them into oncoming traffic...:)

My biggest problem with the kick is the suspect had completely surrendered and was laying down completely spread. Sure he deserved it for what he did but he now stands a great deal higher chance of getting off or getting free quicker because of this cops actions. I know it's hard to to discern in such a heated moment but cops are charged to uphold the law not be the law in this country, gotta play by the rules that are set which doesn't allow for the kicking of a prone suspect. Eastwood in Unforgiven said it best, "deserves got nothin to do with it"

Maybe he barred his teeth, which exposed a barrel from a Colt .45 in the back of his mechanized mouth. Them gang-bangers sure are advanced these days.
Next time give him brain trauma, maybe he'll be too :Censor:ed to do something like that again.

I am sure he was just a misunderstood and confused young man. Maybe the kick in the head helped clear his mind. The cop was just trying to help him with first aid for a severe brain cramp.
