At the state game in Texas Stadium, what really happened? I mean during halftime when the cowboys mascot drove out on a four wheeler with a dragon flag. Does anybody know the REAL story?? I was just wondering because i heard so much different stories Im not sure which one to believe. Well, at least Carroll won!!

he said a texas stadium officall came up to him asking to borrow the dragon flag, saying the mascot would do something with it, they thought "yea cool" but they didnt know he was going to do it during the other bands performance

I'm sick of how threads take an ugly turn sometimes. This board has many posters that represent many teams in the quality post they make. It only takes a few ignorant posters to make very respectable programs look like trash. This season I have enjoyed not only meeting people locally, but also from around the state. It is the people that I meet personally at various games that remind me that the game is so much more than who scores the most points. It is a common bond that brings us together to make and share memories. To remind us of where we are in life. Whether as a child, parent, or an educator we all bring something and share the expirience together.

I love Highschool football because it has brought me, my children, and my community closer together. The ones that sling crap all over the place, I feel, just haven't learned the value and the lessons. Believe me, I'm still learning myself. What is wrong with saying-Good game, thanks for the memories.

I not talking about you D08. I was just commenting in general as there as been several threads locked up since the season ended. I think you bring a lot to the board and are an asset to the SLC Dragon community. You keep doing what you're doing. You are a good bean.

I thought this subject was over with. I think most if not all the Katy posters think this was a bad accident and unintentional by any SLC official. I guess the lesson learned is to not let anyone touch SLC's flag untill halftime shows are over or make the flag SACRED and only SLC students can touch or carry the flag. The last idea would save the Dragon Nation a lot of future embarrassment.

That one's a dead horse. SLC is the State Champ.

I assure you that all the SLC administrators and coaches had no clue that Rowdy was going to take the SLC flag while the Katy band was playing. There's not anyone that intended to disrespect Katy. No way. Rowdy was flying solo. Our apologies to the Katy backers. Nothing but respect for your program.

well, this is kind of like the situtation like when , i think it was when coppell or denton, went onto the field when the greatest dragon band ever, i think im not totally sure though.
