A while back somebody asked for links to the national polls. For those of you who are interested in this sort of thing here are links to 5 polls.
The other poll that people mention is the Student Sports Fab 50. I couldn't get a link to that poll without a subscription to Student Sports. Anyone have that?
A compilation of all six polls is at the bottom.

Celina's a great program, but there is no way they are in the national top 50 as two of these polls suggest.

I say, while insignificant, the more Texas Schools in the polls, the better!

I guess Lakeland, the only other school to get a #1, gets no love from the others..as low as 7th or 8th in one of them...Clearly Carroll's latest title and past rings gets them the nod overall...but until they actually play each other?.....good for the kids to brag about but not much else..

Interesting that Trinity finished #19 in the USA Today polls even with a loss to SGP. Again, we were so close to 2 National top 20 teams squaring off in a bi-district game! Early in the season I thought Trinity was as good or better but they played their best ball early while Carroll got better each week. By year's end I came to the conclusion that Trinity would have fared no better than Lufkin, Plano or Katy. Any combination of those 4 teams would have been fun to watch but you have to give Carroll their due. They were on another planet this year. Way to go Dragons, you did Texas proud once again!
