I wouldn't expect much out of Cedar Park in 7v7. Young qb's and can't use the massive oline for anything. But hey, we'll have some fun!

Anyone have the locations? I remember seeing a list, but can't find it. I don't want to just head to Round Rock and show up and the wrong school and miss the Bowie games.

I emailed the Westwood coaches, and all they did was ask who I was. Never gave me a schedule or anything. That was a bit rude.

From another team's website, I think the games start at 9am. Then the others at 10 and 11.

How did it work after the first round was done? There would be 6 teams move on. Did they do 2 3-team pools? And who gets the 3rd spot at State?

Bowie looked really rusty in game 1 vs. Lake Travis. You could tell they haven't been playing spring ball. Got beat pretty badly. Looked lost in the zone defenses. Didn't convert on a couple of drives at the goalline. Lost 47-14.

They started going to Perry more in the next 2 games and won them both. 40-20 over Round Rock and 41-35 comeback win over Brenham.

Perry looked absolutely disgusting. He's got a great vertical and cannot be stopped when he runs that fade to the back corner.

Funniest thing I heard all day was from the sideline of Brenham close to halftime. One of their DBs was talking trash at one of his teammates that was out of the game due to an injury from the previous game. He said, "Don't be playin' hurt! You just saw that #2 (Perry) over there and didn't want none! Don't play!"

Anderson with about a minute left and they ran out the clock on the extra point 30-25 difference in qualifying for the playoff. We were rotating QB's all game long.

Bowie rotated QBs all 3 games too. I think I saw 3 different guys get snaps.

Cedar Park and Lake Travis made it to the Championship game which got rained out at half time.

So much for Cedar Park only having size and not having skill kids. :)
