No, I think a "bomb" should at least be around 40-50 yards. Also, I think of a bomb the same way I think of a "hail mary". It's kind of an up-for-grabs situation. Whoever gets it, gets it.

if a pass goes more than 30 yards in the air, its a bomb to me

i agree with that. a well placed ball 30 yards downfield to an open receiver isn't a bomb, just a kid with a great arm

A bomb is 40-45 yards or more.

A bomb in Clear Lake is any pass, we never pass.

I think a 30-40 yard pass is just a great long pass.

............40-50 yard pass a bomb

............over 50 yards would be a Hail Mary

For Southlake Carroll it's a pass - for any other team it is probably a 'bomb'

To me, any pass that is caught is a bomb! Even a latteral.
