Did anyone else see this. I can't believe that a thread has not been started about the winner of the Kentucky Derby yet or have I just missed it. I am not a huge horse race fan but this was an awesome race.

I loved the zeal of the jockey that rode Mind That Bird, Calvin Borel. This guy was pumping his fists all the way back to the winner's circle after the race! I'm sure this horse won't be a 50-1 shot if he runs in The Preakness.

Reminds me of the story of Seabiscuit. He gets transported there in a trailer being pulled by a truck - classic! He is also smaller and that's why he was able to go through that impossibly narrow opening. Gotta give the jockey major kudos. What a race!!

Pretty incredible (and gutsy) how Borel took him to the rail at the stretch and he just ran by everyone like they were backing up.
