7 on 7 is great to work on timing, passing and routes....for those of you whom think its laim, you OBVIOUSLY didnt play WR or QB..... those kids that play those skill positions like QB, WR, DB and even LB will benefit a great deal as they work on pass coverage, throwing the ball, timing, routes etc...etc....etc...

Well, im glad toi be a D-line man at Cove because we have Lineman Challenge here and Killeen and when there is 7 on 7 tourneys, they tell those teams that are invited to bring their lineman and we compete....

SV DOES have a 7 on 7 team. I wouldn't go so far as to say Coach Hill doesn't like it either. After all, with the recent implementing of the spread offense, it couldn't hurt to work on timing between the new SV QB (Coach Hill's son) and our returning starting WR's Beyer and Fuller.

Leander just started competing in 7 on 7 this year. Coach Gideon found it pointless because Round Rock High had won it on our division every year except for last year, and only made the playoffs one of those years. But after Cedar Park won it last year, and it was clear that Korey Washington and Trevor Mygeto (Cedar Parks leading reciever last year) had thier timing down perfect, we had to compete this year. I have no idea how we are doing but i really couldn't care less, just as long as we're competing.

This years qb really needs as much work with the receivers that he can get.Not totally sold on Hills son being the starter as of yet. He`ll have to come along way,in a short while till i have confidence in him.He came into the play-off games in the final minutes last year.He was jv last year, and looked mighty short over center. If he has a growth spurt like his brother did over his sophmore summer,it will be a plus.Beyer was the back up last year, but is way to needed at the wr postion.Would love to see Sendejo moved as part time rb,and stay fulltime at db.

we dont even need sendejo at running back,we have 3 very talented ones.and besides..he already does enough.

At this time there is no mecke, fuller,or haney type backs that can carry us.It will be like last year, running back by committe.Sendejo could be at the very least all district at rb two seasons ago we did it with fuller, and he was an awsome db the your before.Never under esimate Hill.

i remember that guy Haney, he was BLAZING fast, i think he ran a 4.3 or something, Lance Fuller was also a burner......i gotta say, i was impressed with Blake Shrock running the ball against SanBenito....

Blake Shrock will stay in the backfield..sendejo rios and beyer are of the fastest players on our team, and coach hill would rather have 3 aesome running back than only one..i have no doubt in my mind that sendejo could be a running back, but hes going to stay at corner...you wont see him get the ball handed to him next year.and by the time rios is a senior,he will be all state..he is amazing.

Haney ran a 4.2! To this day he is still the fastest back I have ever seen. Anybody know where he is and what he's doing now? I know he got hurt and is no longer playing at UT.
