Whats the worst record to possibly have and be a state champion? I believe it would be 7-8, no? Going 2-8, then getting a berth into the Division I playoffs to only play five games to the state championship. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

In a 6-team district, you have a total of 15 wins. If one team gets 5 wins and 2nd place gets 4. You only need 6 more between the other 4 teams.

At least 2 teams have to win 2 games if the other 2 win one game each.

2-8 with 5 playoff wins equals 7-8.

Just think. They made the playoffs a few times to start the decade!:D
