Clint who, more like Coach Dodge who... this kid is amazing! His Stature and physique are so impressive it hard to fathom. He is athletic to the bone with a heart the size of bulls nuts! He is coachable, smart, reliable and more importantly, metro sexual! He will make a simple stop route into a work of art..and Implacable44, u will be pleased with his ability!
Houston was smart giving this kid an early offer, Brainard has pretty much already commited, i mean just yesterday he was wearing short Houston Athletic shorts and Houston Underwear to his 3rd workout of the day...what a man!

the least likely commitment to believe would be any given by a sophomore, to more than just football. has this man-child been under a rock somewhere? i don't remember hearing about him before today. you wouldn't be intimately related to him would you?

If said player is as talented as is being claimed. Then tell me why a lowly school such as Houston is the only one to give him an offer? Surely if he is as talented as is being said every major program in the country would be knocking on his door or camped out on his front lawn.

he will be a soph and will be the biggest surprise if he suits up on the varsity this year. he didn't make an impact during spring training that i saw. this whole thing sounds kind of fishy to me.

LOL...you hit the nail right on the head ddaddy. Nothing like a little self-promotion, huh? I might have believed it if the thread had been titled:
SLC's Brainard gets an offer at U of Houston's mini camp
instead of:
slc Brainard gets offerd at Houstons minin camp
Of course, I am just kidding about believing any of this after reading what you guys that have the real read on the SLC program have to say. :D :D

i was speaking of the sophs commitment. most sophs can't be trusted to remember to take out the trash, much less something as drastic as where to go to college.

just wondering, is this kid a white dude?????? i know that 90% of SLCs' team is white....

Ya Dragdad... I've never seen a Soph get an offer in football. I've seen a select few Soph's get "letters of interest" from some Universitites but "NEVER" have I seen a 10th grader get an "offer."

i seem to remember that reggie got a legit soph offer. i doubt very seriously if a kid who won't step on the field as a soph will be getting offers at any place, esp d-1.

That's right.. D-1A coaches just dont throw away football "ships" to much. Especially to a 10th grader.
I cant remember Reggie getting an offer as a 10th grader but maybe he did. I know he got alot of letter from alot of different schools but full-ship I'm not sure. I think he went to TCU summer camp after his 10th grade year and maybe Coach Fran offered him there.

seems to me i remember that reg was the first time i was aware of a school getting an early commitment. he seemed to start the trend of same.

The thing that's funny about it is this.. Reggie went to TCU summer camp after his 10th grade year and didnt like Coach Frans TCU offense.
Coach Fran leaves and goes to Bama and Reggie signs with A&M.
Well, look who Reggie ends up playing for .. Coach Fran. Go figure huh...

No kidding. hahahaha.... Also looks like Reggie does pretty good in that offense after all. I look for him to finish up with a big Senior year and maybe working himself into a 1st day NFL draft pick.

Reggie will undoubtably be a 1st day draft selection, if not at QB then at WR, you dont run a 4.31 40 from the QB spot and throw for 2,800yrds and not become a 1st day pick
so is the Brainard kid black or white?????

you would say something like that.... the only reason Southlake was mentioned because of the sore, jeoulous losers from Colleyville that said that they knew about kids from Grapevine and Southlake that went to the same dealer.
Grow up and get something new to try and poke at SLC
Not everyone runs a 4.4 at Southlake, everything is hear-say on this message board don't believe any rumors. Southlake is just a very quick team which makes them look extremelly fast. And they train extremelly hard in offseason/spring ball/summer workouts in the mornings/ 8 to be great/ 2 a-days and during the football season........
K that's all for now

Southlake has I think 5 black players on their team - and they do not have 100 players on varsity

The UIL also performed a full investigation at Carroll, and found NO evidence of any steroid usage. Anyone who says we bought them off is a ******, our school is in debt anyhow.

I agree -
Until something is in the paper or news, the steroids issue dead.
So everyone JUST DROP IT.
