I commend you for the effort and time if takes to put together the teams. You guys do a great job. But anything like that will have some debate attached to it.

As a central Texas fan, I have to disagree with Waters for the MVP. He wasn't even voted as the MVP of his district by its coaches. the Hays QB was. I think Atchison from Cove would have been a better choice, or perhaps Drew Dunn of Leander.

Also, to leave WR Staton Jobe of Westlake off of the any of the teams is a huge oversight.

I appreciate the feedback, badger95.

McPheeters really does have a good case to be the CenTex MVP, but we went with Amadeus and his 28 rushing TD's which was among the best in the entire state. It's hard to know how the team would've done if you'd removed either one of them from the team, so I will concede the fact that McPheeters has a great case.

We ran into the same sort of situation with Chris Caflisch and Tony Green from Madison. It was hard to name one of those guys as SATX MVP, but we were able to give it to James Henry from Clemens, because he put up stellar numbers and he was the engine behind that offense. In CenTex, McPheeters and Waters didn't really have much competition (because they were so good and because they led Hays to a 9-1 regular season), so we had to pick one.

I also understand you wanting Staton Jobe on the list, but the fact is, there were many receivers who put up much better numbers than he did this year and we felt we had to recognize those guys.
