I really like the field now in Corsicana. So far above the previous facilities it is mind numbing.

But my favorite is Collins in Denton. Without a track it makes the field so much closer. I also prefer the brick work but understand cutting costs where needed.

My two favorite stadiums outside of Clark in Plano are:

1) Denton ISD stadium- great parking, great atmosphere, excellent seating
2) The new Dallas ISD Stadium

Ratliff Stadium

1. Seating: B+
2. Parking: A+
3. Concessions: B-
4. Restrooms: B
5. Atmosphere: A+
6. Pressbox: B
7. Scoreboard: B+

1- # of seats is not an issue at Ratliff 9 out of 10 weeks. All seats are aluminum bench, which some may not like but personally I like. Recent ADA renovations means a few seats may have sightline issues (railing) but overall I think 99% of the people can see the game no matter where they're seated.

2- Even when Permian and Odessa High to play 24,000, the parking lot is not full. Close to full, but not completely full. There are 4 different points of ingress/egress. Police handle traffic after games.

3- The Lion's Club handles concessions at Ratliff. It would be cool to have a little more variety in food selection, but overall I think they do a pretty good job. Before the recent renovations, there wasn't much space under the stands, so it got cramped when there were long concession lines. But in the past year they have moved the fences farther out towards the parking lot, creating more space under the stands to roam around.

4- May be an issue for our female football friends, but I have no issues with the restrooms at Ratliff.

5- I cannot think of a place I'd rather be than at the Permian vs OHS game in front of a loud, packed house.

6- Our pressbox isn't the greatest in the world but it is adequate. Recently installed elevator improves the situation.

7- The only complaint about our scoreboard is it's far enough away from the endzone that the video screen could stand to be larger. Yep, we're spoiled. Ratliff also has a secondary scoreboard in the other endzone.

One thing Owl didn't list in his grading system was locker rooms. Ratliff's pretty much suck right now, compared to a lot of the large stadiums anyway. I believe there are plans to build new ones at some point.

Okay, in Austin 25-5A (I'll pass on the Pflugerville stadiums since we've only been together one year)
Westlake-
1. Seating A.
2. Parking C.
3. Concessions A.--not long lines, good food, cheaper prices than almost anywhere else
4. Restrooms B. (I'm not sure there is an A.)
5. Atmosphere B. (Westlake fans aren't easy to excite)
6. Pressbox A.
7. Scoreboard A.
8. Handicapped access (after a season in a wheelchair, you need to consider this also!) A

House Park (AISD) (it and Burger I think are supposed to be remodeled, so hopefully improvements are near).
1. Seating B. (it's a little on the small side)
2. Parking F. (it's the oldest with virtually no parking on site)
3. Concessions C.
4. Restrooms D.
5. Atmosphere B.
6. Pressbox (I don't see it)
7. Scoreboard C.
8. Handicapped access C. (you can't see over the fans going in and out to go to the concession stands and/or restroom)

Burger Center (AISD)
1. Seating A.
2. Parking A. (the only one in the district that rates that)
3. Concessions C.
4. Restrooms C.
5. Atmosphere B.
6. Pressbox (I don't use it)
7. Scoreboard B.
8. Handicapped access B. (although it's tempting to say C. because so many fans take an illegal shore cut in front of those in wheel chairs [there are chains to try to keep them out]. One man almost stumbled into my ankle cast (I had had a compound fracture and three surgeries--I thought my husband was going to slug him), and was very insulted that we thought he had no business undoing the chains to take the short cut in front of the wheel chairs rather than take the route indicated. The ushers were no help, although my husband did register a strong complaint after that near disaster.

I'll have to think to remember enough about Bastrop to rate theirs--we've only been there twice.

I assume you are grading the Palace ? ;)

My grades for the Palace:

1. Seating A
2. Parking B (access is too difficult)
3. Concessions B
4. Restrooms A
5. Atmosphere D (a big cold concrete monolith; crowd too far from the action; no home field advantage)
6. Pressbox A (at least the athletic admins have a nice place to work)
7. Scoreboard A+
8. Lighting A (as compared to other HS stadiums)

As a photographer, I added number 8. Lighting at the Palace has been pretty decent for a HS stadium. The Palace had a light pole fall over a few monthes ago, hopefully the replacement lights will be equal or better. Surprisingly, the old Bible stadium was one of the best lit in the area too - hopefully the new Bible will be as good. The old Georgetown stadium (retired in 2007) had the absolute worst 5A lighting in the North Austin area.

Berry Center is Awesome. I would also give it a D for capacity. I would have put about 8-10K more seats in there if I was them. Then it would have been a premier facility for hosting playoff games that draw the larger crowds.

Rhodes Stadium in Katy

Seating: A
Aluminum benches, good sight lines, and you're close to the field in the bottom sections. When it's packed for a regular old game you can sit and stand comfortably.

Parking: D
Easy to get in and plenty of parking spots, but terrible to leave. The KISD police have no idea how to direct traffic. They basically make a one-lane road, only accessible from one side of the parking lot because they block cross over lanes, and leave it up to everyone to try and work their way out. After the Katy/Cinco game this past year I was able to listen to all of Sergeant Pepper before leaving the lot.

Concessions: A
I've never had or heard any complaints. One thing I really like about the concession stands is that they're not behind/under the stands. You can still see the game from the concession line. Plenty of servers too.

Restrooms: B
I never use them during halftime, so I've never had to deal with that rush, but the men's room only has about three or four stalls. I've always thought that might be a problem during halftime. Sinks are timed, and I think they only use air dryers. I don't like that.

Atmosphere: A
Crowd was a little subdued last season, but when it's a big game, nothing beats it. It's a big stadium, but small enough to give you that excellent cramped feeling when it's really packed, and when they open up the grass seating in the south end of the field for the overflow crowds... man. It's awesome. I've gotta get some pictures up from the Katy/Cinco game last year. Also, no matter where you are in the stadium you can see the field. I love that.

Pressbox: A
Never been inside, but I've heard it's kind of cramped. I don't really care, though, cause it's the KISD figureheads taking up room they don't deserve. It's unobtrusive. It flows really well with the stadium. It's not one of those three-story behemoths.

Scoreboard: A
No replay, nothing fancy. Everything you need to know about the game while it's being played. No newspaper article's-worth of stats on display, just a local bank sponsorship.

I have to disagree about Rhodes... although it is perfectly satisfactory, there is nothing great about it. With the level of football in KISD, I think it warrants having one of the premier stadiums in the country. Its ok though... I am planning to strike it rich and donate for Katy to have their own state of the art stadium on campus in place of the little one used by JV. Something with a field house on one end like Jenks' (http://jenkstrojanfootball.com/end_zone_plans.html) and a stone stadium that resembles the colloseum in Rome (of course without being a thousand years old and falling apart). The new Tiger Stadium will be the most intimidating place for visiting teams to play in the country!!

As far as current stadiums, Midlothian has one of the nicest around.

Bass
04-11-2009, 12:22 AM
That's why I like Rhodes, it's so simple, but a big step up from metal bleachers/a stand alone stadium like Crump. It's still got a real homely feel you don't get at the Berry or GPISD.

Pirate Stadium - Wylie

Seating A - Seating is pretty nice at Wylie. Reserved seating with backs on the home side, and there's plenty of seats on the visitor side - 6500 / 3500 is the breakdown home and away

Parking B - Easy to get into. A pain in the *** to leave.

Concessions A+

Restrooms B+ - At least they're not porta-poties

Atmosphere A - I love the atmosphere at Wylie's stadium. Granted I'm a homer, but AHMO never gets old (for me)

Pressbox B - The press box inside is decent. Although, they don't have wireless. Such a pain in the *** if you ask me.

Scoreboard C - Eh, the average scoreboard I guess. The only thing they can really do is Power Point.

I also agree about the size of the stadium. If they would have put more seats in then it probably would start getting some title games especially in the lower classifications.

Parking and traffic is not really an issue. I think you are referencing the game between NS and Cy-Fair a couple of years ago. That was a problem because the game was scheduled the same night as a car show in the arena of the Berry center.

11K is big enough for your average high school game, but when you start getting deeper and deeper in the playoffs, capacity becomes an issue. The only point I was trying to make is that Berry could have been a premier facility for hosting playoff games with large crowds. Maybe 19-21K is too big. I'm not sure what the ideal number would be, but it would be tough to get a team like Katy to play there in early December with their fan base. It's one of the reasons we like Tully and Rice.

That might be plenty for your average school, but at Permian that would leave no room for the visitors! Seeing a high school stadium that seats over 19k, overflowed to 22 or 23k for a regular season game is a spectacle to behold :D

Mustang-Panther Stadium- Grapevine, Tx

Seating B+: The stadium holds probably around 9,500-10,000 and all the seats are bleacher besides the reserved section which is less than 1/4 of the home side. Probably one of the bigger visitor sides around. Only bad thing is the long hill you have to walk up if you come in from the side entrances.

Parking C-: Without a doubt the worst aspect of the stadium. The parking lot fills up way before halftime so most people have to park in the Grapevine High Schools parking lot and either walk over or ride the shuttle.

Concessions B : Nothing fancy. Just your plain old high school football food selection. The home side does have a few more options though.

Restrooms B: Never get overcrowded and always in good condition. Don't know what else there is to want in a stadium restroom.

Atmosphere B+ : When Grapevine or Colleyville are having good years the atmosphere is great. The track puts you a little back from the field, but not too much. Sound system is solid.

Pressbox A - Really nice looking pressbox from the outside and inside. Don't really know what bells and whistles it has.

Scoreboard A+ : Just got a new scoreboard with a jumbotron last year, looks VERY NICE!

That would have been perfect size to host most playoff games. Just because none of the Cy schools outside of Fair and Woods have any fan support doesn't mean the other school districs don't.

Attending the Cinco Ranch-FB Hightower and FB Hightower and Pearland game would have been nice to watch at Berry.

It holds 11K+, thats plenty big enough. 19-21K seating for a high school stadium would be rediculous.

not if you can fill it up - ratliff
shotwell holds around 16,000 along with standing areas and portable endzone bleachers

Shotwell Stadium - Abilene/Abilene Cooper/Abilene Christian University

Seating: A
plenty of room with 15k +, and fairly close to the field without being too close

Parking: B+
ever since they paved the dusty fields, Shotwell has become a much bigger attraction to playoff games, the Champions Classic, and even hosted a 1A or 6-Man state championship

Concessions: B-
Standing in line takes up all of halftime, but partly because there are so many fans. nothing special

Restrooms: A-
Big upgrade from the old restrooms. Much nicer and larger. only problem is a little bit of a walk

Atmosphere: A+
All the great history of the schools and the town, with the fans in the home stands spilling over into standing areas and the visitor side. Good sound system, and announcer has a great voice

Pressbox: B-
Really the only part left of the stadium that makes it look older. but it helps add to the history and atmosphere

Scoreboard: A+
one smaller scoreboard at the south end, along with the Jumbotron at the north end. The replay screen at the north end is the largest of its kind at any high school football field in America.

Locker rooms: A-
Much much nicer since the stadium upgrade. lots of room to walk around

Surface: grassy turf with rubber pellets

Miscellaneous:
nice walkway down the hill from the lockerrooms
field is sunken down into the ground, with hills going up behind the northern and southern endzones

sure. PLANO'S CLARK FIELD

1. Seating A+
2. Parking A+
3. Concessions B (need to open up more lines on home side, too crowded at half)4. Restrooms NI (needs improvement- the piss trough needs to go)
5. Atmosphere A+[/B]
6. Pressbox A++
7. Scoreboard A+++ (no instant replays for the Allen fans)

Are you kidding here? Seating is tight as you're right on top of the row in front of you as seats needs to be deeper. Seat numbering too tight as our two folding stadium seats need 3 spaces?? Middle of the row is a long way to the aisle, seating = C.
Parking is horrible, on gravel and only two ways out with both home and vistors trying to get in/out the same small exits, parking = D
Concessions, Dr Pepper supplier so only DP or nothing, no choices have to bring my own Diet Coke. Food choices better, Concessions = B-.
Atmosphere great for homers I'm sure, horrible for visitors except the fact we win there as much as Eagle stadium so not horrible. No visitor replays or homers that would dispute the PI call by the ref when no one was near the Plano WR???? Atomsphere=B. Rest I'll agree with you.

Eagle Stadium
1. Seating B, would be better with built in stadium seats but deep and wide enough for our folding stadium seats.
2. Parking A-, could be more closer but easy to get in and out. Plenty of parking at HS and shuttles run constantly as well as local stores do not tow vehicles like some areas such as Lewisville. :p
3. Concessions A-, wide variety and plenty of local setups as well as soda and popcorn sold throughout the seating some games.
4. Restrooms - Home side = C need to be more and serviced through games but ok. Visitor side = D as port-a-potties until this coming year when they remove them, but gives some people something to talk about, especially NHB06.:D
5. Atmosphere Home side = A+ Loud and full crowds. Visitor side = B-, homers sitting with you and the home band plays too much.
6. Pressbox B.
7. Scoreboard B

Are you on crack? The last game I went to at Eagle stadium (Wylie vs Allen), I had to park over 1 mile away at a strip mall. And after all these years going to Eagle stadium, I've never seen a concession stand there. I won't even get into the seating on the visitor side or the porta-potties. Pathetic.
Eagle Stadium is definately an F- on all accounts.

You have no vote on Clark until you guys get your 100 million dollar stadium built. Seating is plenty wide. Just because you have extra large seat cushions isn't Clark's fault. The reason we have to have exclusive vendor's aka Dr. Pepper is that PISD had to keep giving millions of dollars away every year to the likes of GISD Wylie and others. Why would you reply vistors plays? I doubt AE's well do that when they get their 3D replay jumbotron.

Thats what I was thinking as well.
Eagle Stadium gets nothing over an F for seating. Splinters in your *** as you leave the stadium as well as no clear distinction of where the isles end and the steps begin make it virtually impossible to leave at any point during the game. If you do decide to leave then you are literally knocking people over both in front and behind you. It is flat out horrible.
The parking situation is bad too. As far as being towed in Lewisville, it must take a dumb *** to do that, there are clearly signs that say where not to park or you will be towed. Then again after seeing TJW complain about not getting his Diet Coke then I can see why he would complain about being towed in a place where it clearly says not to park.
The concession stand is in the north endzone behind the student seating. There are something like 4 windows and if you dont go before kickoff then you are screwed.
Plano's Clark would get an A in all aspects of my book with the exception of traffic flow after the game and atmosphere. Parking is easy and plentiful, seating is great. Concessions are good.

The old Georgetown stadium (retired in 2007) had the absolute worst 5A lighting in the North Austin area.
safe to say though that the lights at Bible were the only good thing there.

my opinion on the Round Rock stadiums

The Palace
1. Seating A -homes side has the nice reserve seats with the backs which are nice
2. Parking B+ always enough spaces but only one way in and out
3. Consessions B agree with Mav on missing the games if you go to consessions. located in an alcove beside the bleachers and can only see the edzone. pretty good menu though
4. Restrooms A pretty nice, what else is there to say
5. Atmosphere A- agree about the seats being far away, but during the two SP playoff games, especially the Woodlands game, the stands were packed and rockin. also the blue crew gives an added bonus
6. Pressobx A+ huge and looks really nice
7. Scoreboard A+ can be seen from everywhere and includes a really nice jumbotron

Dragon Stadium

1. Seating B- all metal bleachers, visitor side pretty small
2. Parking D no visitor parking, home parking lot small, hard to get out of
3. Consessions B- nothing unique, can see part of field though
4. Restrooms C+ small
5. Atmosphere B- gets louder then the palace thats about it
6. Pressboz- B- home side about average, has seperate visitor side but just a small room really
7. Scoreboard C pretty big but nothing special

OK folks here we go. The best I can tell this genius is saying the reason they have Dr. Pepper is because they give money to Garland. Now then, I am going to ask a question to show what this individual is. Generally he will talk about my age, body type, or claim his little girls are being insulted when something dont fit the scam. lets see:
State the dollar amount of money that Plano has given to Garland. Simple as that. Punk, are you a cowardly chicken :Censor: or a man. It obvious that you dont want to talk about the Garland vs Plano results over the last twenty games... so lets see what you are made of.

Never said I was ever towed FF, just last time we were in the same district a bunch of cars from Plano and East were towed in Lewisville even when parked in marked legal parking areas.

Pennington Field has been honored as the "Most Used Stadium in the State of Texas"

Pennington Field

1. Seating A- (new seats are weird)
2. Parking A (leaving sucks)
3. Concessions A
4. Restrooms A++++
5. Atmosphere A
6. Pressbox A (gigantic )
7. Scoreboard B+ (Can be seen from Central)
8. Lighting A

Home of some of the greatest games in HS history, just ask Carroll and Vernon.

Opened in the fall of 1987. It was built as a multipurpose Stadium with two gymnasiums, one for gymnastics and the other for meetings. The football field is also utilized as a soccer field.

Pennington Field has been honored as the "Most Used Stadium in the State of Texas". With a seating capacity of 12,500, (20,000 if visitors side was as big as home side) the Stadium has been called the "Star of Stadiums" by the Fort Worth Star Telegram and was named in a recent article as one of the "Best Places To See A High School Football Game." Others throughout the State of Texas refer to Pennington Field as the place to play or watch a high school football game.

The priority use of Pennington Field is for the students enrolled in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District. Trinity High School and L.D. Bell High School play their football and soccer games at the stadium. The seventh, eighth, and ninth grades of the five junior highs in the school district also utilize the field. The Hoot Smith Student Activity Center is used by the gymnastics teams of both high schools and the five junior highs. Motor development classes also use the Activity Center for preschool day programs and age-group night programs.

THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF USES FOR PENNINGTON FIELD:
FOOTBALL
High School, Junior High, Semi-pro, Pee Wee League, College All Stars, and State Playoff games are played at Pennington Field. (An average of 142 games per year in 9 years with five state final games) All University Interscholastic League division schools (1-A, 2-A, 3-A, 4-A, 5-A, and six man) have played on the Astro Turf of the stadium. An average of 32 team practices, seven scrimmage games, five spring games, punt-pass-kick contests, and two powder puff games take place at Pennington Field each year. The stadium has been used as the practice facility for the World League of Football, the Dallas Texan Arena Football Team, and the Fort Worth Cavalry Arena Football Team.

SOCCER
Boys and Girls Varsity Games, Junior Varsity Games, Optimist Tournament Games, State Playoff Games, and State Regional Tournament Games are played at Pennington Field each year. (An average of 90 games per year) The Stadium is used for an average of 34 team practices, and seven scrimmage games. Over 5,000 fans watch the boys and girls play in the State Regional Soccer Tournament.

BAND
Over 80 different high school bands, with special appearances of some major college bands, perform on the turf of the stadium each year. The L.D. Bell and Trinity High School bands, along with the visiting team bands, perform at halftime of each of the high school football games. An average of 75 band and Drill team practices are booked at the stadium along with National Drum and Bugle Corp Team performances and practices. Pennington Field is the home of the Texas State Regional and Area Marching Band Contests, which brings in over 15,000 spectators each year for each event.

GYMNASTICS
The Boys and Girls High School, Junior High and H.E.B. Aged Group Teams in the Hurst- Euless-Bedford School District use the activity center at Pennington Field daily for practice. The gymnastics area is used in the mornings and evenings for motor development classes. Student use for the activity center is over 700 participants weekly. The Center is also used for gymnastics certification testing and coaches clinics.

PARKING LOT
The Fire Departments of the Cities of Hurst, Euless and Bedford rent the parking lot for testing and driver training classes each year. Major tire companies use the concrete parking area for drive and ride demonstrations and safety testing. Fifteen motor cross events, four truck roadeos, two school bus roadeos, helicopter landings for Santa USA, and several garage sales are other uses for this area. Classes for school bus certification utilize the parking lot and meeting rooms. The parking lot is used as the driving range for The School District's Summer Driver Education Program.

A few games doesn't make a program. Time tells all. Last time I checked Plano still has the edge in every single category when it comes to comparing the two programs.

Think you better check with WOS87 again as the programs are 7-7 alltime with Allen winning the last 3 straight.

Only edge Plano has is 7-1 state championships but then we are talking history as has been 15 years since Plano won with Allens edge being as recent as the last one.

Pennington Field has been honored as the "Most Used Stadium in the State of Texas"

Pennington Field

1. Seating A- (new seats are weird)
2. Parking A (leaving sucks)
3. Concessions A
4. Restrooms A++++

I can't wait to check it out next season. Do they sell any reserved seats for the visitor side or is it all general admission??
The only way a restroom could ever rate A++++ in my book would be if it was spotless with plenty of urinals and an attendant.

Define what you mean by the new seats are weird?

Speaking of Southlake Carroll, I see that they have a little bond election of their own this year to expand Dragon Stadium by 1600 seats. Good luck with that!! :)

P.S. The best was to fix the "too Many Cars Leaving at once" problem is to make sure the other team's fans start leaving by the beginning of the 4th quarter...

Tully Stadium (Spring Branch/ Katy's play off stadium haha)

Seating- B (its an old stadium and it has just old run of the mill metal benches)
Concessions- C- (hard to get to and lines are really slow)
Parking- B (lots of space all around the stadium to park but with only 4 exits its hard to get in and out of
Restrooms B (very large on both sides but still are old and have a certain smell to them)
Atmosphere- A+ (one of the largest stadiums in the state it can fit a lot more than the listed amount when one end zone is opened and people can sit on the grass, since it has been redone the field turf looks beautiful compared to the old retro 80's astro turf, the new field house is awesome and is about 30 times the size of the old one. because of its size during big games like SHS/ MHS or any Katy Playoff game (like the state semi against Smithson Valley a few years ago) it is unbelievably loud and just an over all awesome place to watch a game. The ramp is also key to the atmosphere)
Press box- B (nothing special like the rest of the stadium it is old)
Scoreboard- A (because it is basic and doesn't have any obnoxious jumbo screen or anything, it is a lot newer than the one from acouple years ago, the older one dated back to when my dad played at Westchester)

I am a homer about Tully but I think since its face lift from a year ago it is an absolutely beautiful stadium

LOL!! right about the bathrooms. I just like them because there are plenty, and they are clean. Probably not an A+++, but definitely nicer than most stadiums. The coolest thing about Pennington, is that it is 22 years old but is still in very good shape. Not as nice as some of the newest staiums, but in 1987....it was the nicest.

Katt mentioned the visitor side sucks.....and that is correct. The vis side is WAY to small. If it was as big as the home side, then it would hold over 20000. Oh well until Bell pulls in bigger crowds it will have to do. Plus all of the big rivalry games with Bell used to take place at Texas Stadium.

I always wondered why the multiple big school isd's build uneven stadiums. When both schools are in the same district they are likely to have equal crowds.

Money was a big issue in 1987. Bond approvals were iffy and the Trinity/Bell games were so big they were held at Texas Stadium. The district opponents never really traveled that well and it was not seen as necessary. If Bell's program continues its upward swing then more problems will occur. Maybe one day they will tear down the other side and make it bigger.....maybe even just add to the existing one.

Burger Stadium - Austin, TX

Seating - A+ (close to 15,000 seats evenly split, all good views)
Parking - A+ (tons of paved parking on both sides of the stadium)
Traffic - A (Home side has 3 exits, 1 of which is to the Away side which exits onto a highway)
Food - B (it's AISD stadium food. what do you expect? although they did have chopped bbq sandwiches and sausage wraps at games last year)
Atmosphere - A- (it's not cramped or crowded or in the middle of nowhere, but it lacks intimacy and the ability to get loud and really rowdy)
Score Board - A (it's not a fancy video board with instant replay, but it gets the job done)
Locker Rooms - B+ (nothing special)

Grande in Midland is probably the finest high school stadium I have ever been to. The only negative is the price of concessions and they are extremely high but there are plenty of concession areas and very nice and plentiful restrooms. The parking is very good and there are several exits and entrances. The field is below ground level and the seating is outstanding. Individual seats on the home side and aluminum seating with seat backs on the visitor side. A+ in everything but concession pricing. I think the stadium has 15,000 fixed seats and can hold another 3000 on the grass berms behind the end zones

Hey, bowiedawg! I agree with most of the above (well, not the scoreboard, but I understand that's a question of style). and I was out of town for our game last fall so I must have missed an upgrade in the food. But you omit restrooms. Burger is better than House Park, but that's still an AISD problem. They definitely can't be rated above a B or a C (at least the women's!)

Yeah, the scoreboard grade was based on how it compares to typical boards around the state. Comparing it to really nice video boards is like apples and oranges.

I don't use the restroom when at games, whether HS or UT games, so I don't have an opinion. I'm sure they're not great, but AISD did put some money into the stadiums and were supposed to work on the restrooms.

Dragon Stadium - Southlake

1. Seating, ( number, comfort, site lines) : Seating is adequate for most games since the additional seats were added in the end zone and on the visitor's side by the Dallas Burn. But home side is a bit shy on the seating, as the home crowd generally has at least a few sitting on the far less crowded visitor side. Overall, a B on seating.
2. Parking, ( number, access) Situation similar to the seating. A bit too small for the visitor side, so that the buses must be parked elsewhere on game night. Even then, crowd can easily overflow into surrounding warehouse lots. Shuttles sometimes available for bigger games to nearby middle school parking. B- (Charges for parking are a bummer, but we are not talking price here.)
3. Concessions (access, number, food) More concession space would be desirable, as access is a bit limited. In terms of access: C. But we have sushi!! Fortunately offsetting that, we also provide Feedstore BBQ sandwiches!!!! A.
4. Restrooms ( a BIG item for some fans... understandably) Nothing special. Seem to be clean and in working order and that is a plus. B- (if you really are interested in restrooms, the standard has to be Northwest ISD's place.)
5. Atmosphere (opinion) Too damn quiet most of the time. Too many band/Belle parents leave after halftime; too many reserved seat holders arrive late. C-
6. Pressbox: Working level a bit cramped, but overall seems fine. Slowest elevator known in existence. B
7. Scoreboard: Provides the information required; has a message center, but no video capabilities. C. Sound system: produces sound. D (mostly attributable to speakers, not electronics)
7a) Lighting: Day games only for the moment.;) -> F (temporary grade)
8. Locker Rooms: Very nice. Custom nametags with player name, school logo and player's number provided to playoff teams utilizing Dragon Stadium. A
9. Home to Carroll Dragons: A+.

Easily favored by domestic flying wildlife over nearby Mustang-Panther Stadium.
