Saw 'em......the Zebras beat Van Alstyne in a playoff game in back in the 90's sometime.....I was following the Van Alstyne team back then as a co-worker who lives there got me hooked on them.....had a QB that went to SMU and played DB.

I had a coach in jr high, Coach Dale or Del Pittman that always talked about the wampus cats of Itasca. I can't remember if he was from there or had coached there.

The Wampus Cats have a cool name but the Hutto Hippos are cool too.
