USC 35 - Texas 21
Do you honestly think USC's HIGHLY TOUTED STOUT DEFENSE can hold UT to a mere 21 points?? They're definitely not Ohio St.
I'm just gonna go ahead and say put the crack pipe down.

Ohio St. didn't even hold the Horns to 21 points...
And USC gave up 42 points to freakin' Fresno St.!!

Yes. Carroll is known for his defensive coaching, and when given time to prepare, he has teams pretty well figured out. In their 3 bowl games under Pete, USC gave up 17 to Iowa in 2003, 14 to Michigan in 2004, and 19 to Oklahoma in 2005. I think he will keep Texas under 30 at the least.
The other thing you have to look at is turnovers. Vince isn't exactly the most accurate QB in the world.

By the way USC fans talk if you give Pete Carroll a month to do something he will be able to do the following:
1. Create a defense that can stop any offense in any sport or game, Football, Basketbal, Baseball, Badmitton, Boxing, Polo, Golf, Poker, Volleyball, etc.
2. Get a solution for peace in the middle east that everybody could agree on and end thousands of years of violance
3. Disprove all three of Newton's fundamental laws of physics and all of the laws of thermodynamics.
4. Create a cure for Cancer
5. Solve the world hunger problem
6. Beat that asian guy in a hot dog eating contest
7. Successfully get William "refrigerator" Perry on a diet

I don't know if that was targeted at me...but I am literally the diametric opposite of a USC fan; I live and breathe Notre Dame football. That doesn't change the fact that the Poodle is a very, very good defensive coach when he puts his mind to it.
Just a reminder about last year...
Oklahoma averaging 37 a points on offense and giving up 13 points a game on defense.
Annihilated Colorado 42-3 in the Big XII Championship game.
I think Texas this year is much better than Oklahoma last year, but beating up on Big XII teams does not an elite team make. They beat Ohio State in the Shoe, which is huge. But Troy Smith is no Leinart, Santonio is no Jarrett, and Ginn, Jr. is no Reggie. They're going to have to play a lot better in the Rose Bowl to be able to compete with USC.

Vince Young's completion percentage- 64% with 26 TD's
Matt Leinart's completion percentage- 65% with 27 TD's
All you sips are just dumb...
Leinart is obviously 10X better than Vince.

I was referring to interceptions. Vince is averaging an interception for every 28 attempts. Leinart is averaging an interception for every 56 attempts. That's a 2 to 1 discrepancy.
That isn't even counting the 2 or 3 INTs that the Aggie defense dropped.

Thats a good point! USC's Defense is going into this game with 22 INT's for 200+ yds and UT is going in with 10 INT's with 90 yds.

Spread on the Tex-USC game is USC -7.5. I think it would be a SURE bet to bet Texas. I think that if USC wins, they will NOT win by more than 7 points, no doubt in my mind.
ND will beat OH State.
Penn State will become FSUs daddy.
Tech will beat Bama.
Ducks over Sooners.
ISU over TCU

Florida beat 2 BCS teams this year. they beat Georgia and they beat Florida St. like a ugly mut. My hawks will have their hands full but i still like their chances. They have improved tremendously from their very bad start. They destroyed Florida in this same bowl a few years ago but those were mostly different teams. I really like UT vs USC. I think it is their time i really do. I will cheer the most for Iowa of course, then UT and then I will cheer for all the Big10 teams like i usually do. I cannot believe Michigan got beat by Nebraska. I did not see that one coming? They blew that one with or without the horrible ref's. I cannot believe that guy did not pitch it back to Breaston at the end? If he would of it would have been the next Stanford/Cal finish. What was he thinking? He had all the time in the world to pitch it to him. He just kept running and ran right into a defender.
