"Name This Board" Contest

Alrighty folks...this board needs a name. I'm not looking for one that's too basic like "Sub-5A" or what it is currently named, but instead a clever one that still gives a good idea of what this board is about.

Let's hear your suggestions and the admins will narrow it down to 5 finalists (if there are that many we like :)) in a week or so. At that point, we'll open it up to the community to vote on their winner.

Keep it limited to 5 suggestions max per person.

The winner will be recognized in some capacity. Either we'll add your name into the board summary or we'll add 2009 "Name this Board" Contest Winner to your poster title that's located on all of your posts.

Well I really don't think their is much difference in 4/5 A as it would be if it was 3A and Down or Just 1A and 6man

But since at the 1A 6man level most play both ways I like

Ironman Football.

Some of those guys are out their on Offense Defense and Special teams.

Of course I also Like "Where we go after Dairy Queen on Fridays"

In some cases if the town is on a road trip "The last one outta town turn off the lights" would be appropriate.

Or in some places "We have to do something with the Deerstand/Pressbox before hunting season" Im sure Texasbob has a few pictures of these.

I once played on a team in J-high out in the far reaches that played barely 11man ball and could fit in a 15 passenger van with the coach for the road trips so maybe "This is Everybody"

But overall I think "We Have more fun" may be best.

Down on the farm as in to include the bulk of the teams in 4A on down being rural oriented, and schools that may aspire to be 5A someday, as in a reference to the minor leagues in baseball..."down on the farm".

Further clarification on the name that I suggested ... Since Texas has arguably the best high school football in the nation at all levels from 6-man on up and this board was exclusively 5A originally then "The REST of the BEST" fits very well. ... if you reverse it to "The BEST of the REST then it becomes demeaning to some IMO.

Therefore ... "The REST of the BEST" is the name that best suits the name of the board for our brethren in the other classes including 6-man up through 4A.

btw ... I am really thankful and proud that my suggestion has garnered such attention. Thanks! ;)
