Yes, they only tied for a division. I'm confident they would've beaten Mizzou if given a chance to play them again, just as I feel Tech would've beaten the Tigers, but the fact is OU is the 2008 Big 12 champs and there is nothing we can do about it. I have a dog in this fight, too. I was at Tech games all year and after 12 games, Tech (Nor Texas) deserved to play Mizzou as much as OU did.

The fact that Texas would put that on the wall verifies everything I've ever said about them and their fans.

By and large the majority of OU fans can see or say nothing good at all about the Texas Longhorns. I know they don't like OSU, but I can't say they won't give them their due. Both Texas and Texas A&M can't for their sake of their lives force themselves to acknowledge anything positive about the other university. Yeah, a few fans do, but the vast majority can't. Texas also has the distinction of thinking that nothing good can come from the Oklahoma Sooners.

That leaves me rooting for Texas Tech since I'm a Texan and my roots are in West Texas. Besides, I'm too good to be associated with the morons that make up the majority of the Sooner, Longhorn, and Aggie fanbases. No, it's not all internet talk, either. I run into too many idiots that mentally can't come to grips to ever think anything good can come from a rival university. As much as I hate the other teams and their fans, I'm not stupid enough to not see the positives from each team. By a score of 2 to 1 to 1, that makes the Longhorns the biggest losers and the topic of this thread also proves they're the sorest losers. 'horn fans sure must've loved Eddie Haskell from "Leave it to Beaver"!:D

No. That was done by a student without really thinking. The placement of the 2008 and asterisk had to have been done by someone with some sort of decision making authority, had to be approved by someone, and had to be planned and thought out in advance. All in all an excellent example of the ingrained aggyness in existence in the UT AD.

I am sure there are videos and tv's in that locker room. Why not just take 4-5 plays on both offense and defense that cost you the game agaisnt Tech nad have them play over and over while the players lift or get dressed to keep the reminder fresh.
