Luke is a stud. Offers from (among others) LSU, Alabama, UCLA, Nebraska, Okie. Since the two were a package deal, I'm not sorry we picked up Matt as well. Always nice to have depth. I see Honeycutt moving to another position.

Good pick up for aTm. Luke and Matt are great kids and I believe Matt will surprise a lot of folks in a couple of years. Luke on the other hand isn't going to surprise anybody...heckuva player.

I didnt say he wasnt good, i just think hes like the 3rd or 4th best qb in Texas this year in a down year for qbs. And nothing about his film really wowed me. He has a nice arm, but not one that absolutely blows me away like when i saw Ryan Malletts film from a couple of years ago, or even a guy that im sure you know very well Nick Foles. Granted, i was higher on Foles than most ppl were (even before the game against Southlake Carroll) so im not knocking Joeckel, i just feel like there are better qbs.

Now Luke on the other hand, i feel like is a top 3 or top 5 Olineman in the state this year. Im extremely high on him and am personally glad he chose A&M over OU cause i thought he would chose OU by that offer list.

I think hes better than McCoy too, but i like Conner Wood, Scotty Young, and Zach Lee ahead of him based off of their tape....just like rivals has. Im not saying he can't be good, but the fact that you say THIS IS THE GUY just seems very hopeful to me.

Scotty Young may be a system qb, but in that case hes heading to the perfect system. IMO, hes the most accurate qb in the state this year by far.

Honeycutt or Showers will not be playing QB at some time. The Honeycutt offer imo is to give some love back to a former student and Aggie football player in his dad.
