to become head coach of 4A South Oak Cliff. Guess he felt he was ready...........I don't know who the replacement will be as of yet.
My personal feelings? We'll get somebody better.

Well I think it may turn out to a bust hire if u ask me. I am aware of his coaching acumen from both sides of the spectrum. When he was the OC at Arlington Sam houston in 04-05 he had a few impressive outings. In 04 Sam Houston lost to HP 49-40 in a game that I attended. he had great showings against Carter both years. Lost 28-25 in 2005. In 2006 he was the OC at Lincoln. He started the season off well with a 42-28 win over Roosevelt. The team played well against Ennis until th starting QB hurt his ankle. And Lincoln's offense was not the same the rest of the season!!!! He showed me that he could not adjust to a situation where he had to change pesonnel and keep the ball rolling. I hope he does well at SOC. But I just dont know!!!

To be honest...I didn't see the talent at running back evolving as good as it was capable of being at AB. Communication can help a runner develop his field vision to adjust to gap control, a busted play, an overzealous tackler, etc. But I won't bash the man..........and wish him well.Well I think it may turn out to a bust hire if u ask me.
