It's true. Leach made the team walk the plank!:D
He felt like the team was too distracted with the wind, cold, and snow on Friday so he started the practice on Monday with this drill.
He laid 4 2X4's about 12 feet long on the ground and had people walk across it. After they easily did that, he asked how they'd do if the boards were 10 stories high and that was to prove how they need to get rid of distractions.
In other news, Julius Howard has moved from LB to safety and lost weight, while Victor Hunter has moved from MLB to the D-line and that should open up more time for Fehoko.
Zou is a natural inside receiver and Cornelius Douglas will add a great deal of athleticism to the team.
RB should be OK with Batch in there and Jeffers will have a few highlights and that doesn't even mention that Crawford is still around.
Potts is still the #1 QB and my guess is Doege ends up being the backup.
Eric Russell is going to make a difference as Special Teams coach. When it's all said and done, Tech will have better coaching this year with Russell doing ST and Clay McGuire at RB than last year with McGuire at ST and Littrell at RB. I just don't know yet if they'll match Littrell's work in recruiting. Russell has a track record at North Texas and La Tech for producing good special teams and he really makes the guys work at it.
