But it looks like a&m is trying to plant that seed for Corey Nelson to follow. But great pickup none the less....

We want Cory Nelson in a bad way, but Patterson can more than hold his own. He's in the top 20 on the Maroon and White Report recruiting list. A player that we are very happy to have in his own right. Of course, no one is gonna whine if Nelson wants to come along, too......:D

Nelson, Patterson, and Andrew Weaver (09 class) andJonathan Stewart (09 class) would be a VERY solid group to build the LB corps around.

I would love for Shaun Lewis to come to College Station also. A&M needs speed on the defense, especially at linebacker, pretty bad.

Nooooooooooooooo, Weaver is not the start to a great linebacker corps. Stewart and Patterson are studs though.

Lewis or Nelson might make me throw a party.

Weaver's a solid player. Plenty of schools would be happy to have him.

Bad argument. I'm sure Trinity would be happy to have him, that has nothing to do with us though.

You're pretty full of yourself. Weaver's a 3* LB with offers from lots of Big XII schools with the size and speed to be a good player.

We need to work on Nelson now. He's been to our campus like 4 times and he was getting pretty "crunk" during the Aggie drill yesterday. That was a sight to see.
