To me, the Elite 8 is the greatest round of the NCAA Tournament. The pressure is on and reaching the Final Four is ever so close.

Just one game to make it happen. The joy to reach the Final Four and the agony and heartwrenching dissapointment to be so close but not make it.

This Elite 8 looks to be great!

Pittsburgh vs. Villanova
Connecticut vs. Missouri

North Carolina vs. Oklahoma
Louisville vs. Michigan State

Two one vs. three matchups

Two one vs. two matchups.

Wow!!! Great games on Saturday and Sunday.

personally, i think griffin is going to tear hansbrough a new *** hole....he hasn't faced an athletic freak like griffin yet and tyler is nowhere near the athlete blake is. i expect plenty of dookishness out of hansbrough though, as far as flopping is concerned. it's probably the best defense he has going agaisnt blake.

What like lightly graze his nose? I watched that live and they played it over and over again I could not figure out what gave him a concussion. It wasn't even 100% clear that Pittman even hit him and if it did it wasn't a hard blow to the nose. That was a really weird set of events.

actually i think there was contact earlier that play or the play before where it looked like he got elbowed in the temple....yet, he got a bloody nose...i don't know, it was weird.

I dunno. I just remember commenting to my friend that Griffin was acting oddly with the ball after whatever happened. He told me he just wasn't a point guard but he looked very confused. He was pulled from the game two minutes later and looked like he had no idea what was going on. I thought it was really odd how they let him come back from half time dressed to play when they clearly weren't going to let him.
