We're always reading and typing about bad news (negativity)...how about some good (positive) news for a change.

Post or comment about whatever good news you may have or have read about.

Here's a start.....

Computer science. It isn't actually called CS4 but its better than calling it CE2337 or w/e the actual name is.

Haha. Nope. I assume your major has some heavy emphasis on photo editing?

Maybe I'll work on some software (or hardware) you use in the future to do the editing though.

There is plenty of good news. We heard from our son in Iraq and he sounds well. Our daughter is on the path to graduate summa cum laude and this morning I got the biggest hug and was told "I love you" by my 12 year old. Those are all good things. :)

Nothing like getting love from your children and seeing them do well.

I love when I go pick my son up from daycare after work.....once he sees me, he drops whatever he's doing and smiles and runs towards me screaming "da da" and "heeeeeey"....

Game design? Like the art side of the game design or the code side of the game design? There is a CS elective that deals with game design that I may take but there are a lot of other cool electives (artificial intelligence and operating systems being two I'm checking out) as well so it is hard to decide.

I bought the CS3 master suite from my school last year and played around with photoshop. It's fun but very hard to do with a mouse. Do you have a tablet that you do work on? I saw one at Fry's they had hooked up to a Mac Pro desktop and a huge LCD. I don't know who in the world buys a Mac Pro but it was there.

Thank you and same to you.

By the way what is your major? I would be failing all of those classes because I would never show up. I'm sure you could say the same about mine though.

And you need to get with the program in that Philosophy class! Quit slacking!

awwwwww, that is sweet. Relish each and every time and each and every hug. There can never be enough but there can always be to little. I always told my kids those, "just because" hugs were needed so we could bank them for when we would need one and weren't with each other. I have lots of hugs banked. :)

Wonderful marriage with very happy healthy children. Youngest just got out of a back brace from a Pars fracture on his L5 . Very long three months of no physical activity for a kid that ran at 10 months. All good news, he is healed and can resume sports. Just no power lifts or cleans with weights until he is at least 16.

Hearing your child is healed are the sweetest words that can be spoken to a parent.

Yeah I bet the kid was ready to get out of that back brace and run free again...that's awesome!

And walking (my bad...running) at 10 months is pretty fast...my son didn't start until he was 14 months...I think he was just being lazy and enjoying getting carried around all the time! :D

Damn, there goes the thread...j/k

My son is about to be 7 months old. He's 28 inches long, and 21 lbs. (he just had his check up). His godfather, who is my best friend, and another good friend of ours, are flying down here next week for his baptism.

And I just found out that my girlfriend's family is having a family reunion in July in Myrtle Beach, to which i get to go. I wasn't invited three years ago since we had just started dating, but a couple of years and a kid get u in i guess...j/k:D

He was ready. By the third month he could go without it at home but had to put it on for school or if he went outside to play with the neighborhood kids.

He was ready to go at 10 months and has not slowed down since. Had to keep with with his older brothers.
