Dan Huckaby, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, said the rain should begin to fall Friday night and continue sprinkling throughout the day Saturday, tapering off by the afternoon.
Who does this benefit:confused:

unless it is bitterly cold, a little rain shouldn't favor either team. fieldturf plays so true in almost any conditions, it may actually favor a passing team, as the receivers know where they are going while the least amount of lost traction will destroy the conmfidence of the dbs. since kt has gone more to the dark(passing) side, they won't be quite as likely to bull up and take over a game. in the slc camp, as long as the wind isn't howling, we will take what the defense gives us. opportunists every game.

it is going to be cold on Sat. but that shoulden't favor either team...
both teams should play as if it was warm out but the coldness might hurt katy if they are a bunch of pu$$ies.

not at all likely. the only one's who'll be aware of the cold are the jvs doing the sideline shuffle.

The weather impact may be greatest on the vendors offering warm/hot products. It is likely fans on either side will be more willing to pick up these products at the outrageous prices than if the temperature were more moderate.
As far as the field, it has drainage - so unless it is raining or the TV delays mean the ball gets excessively wet - shouldn't have much more impact to either side.
