I've got 14 of my 16 teams in the Sweet 16, which in this day and age gets you about middle of the pack. I'm amazed at others' picking prowess - particularly Cy Falls Mom.
It definitely all comes down to your final four and champion.
If I were to re-seed it would be:
1 NC
2 Memphis
3 Pitt
4 Louisville
5 UConn
6 Xavier
7 'Nova
Everyone else has a fighters chance, but I can't imagine a champ not in that 7.
Funny that the leader in the $10,000 challenge has OU as their champ!

HEY!!! I resemble that remark!!
I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised myself - usually by now, my brackets are blown. I don't look at records, injuries or anything. I just pick.

Pitt is the weakest of the 1 seeds. UConn was surprisingly strong and I really like what they did in the first weekend.
Louisville was surprisingly weak in their two games. I expected much better from them.
Memphis nearly laid an egg against Northridge, but rebounded with a very impressive win over Maryland.
Based on the first two rounds, I would call UConn and UNC the top two contenders. Louisville and Pitt have to get their acts together in order to make the Final Four.

I thought UConn looked good as well....I like Memphis also...
UConn (men) and (women) could very well win titles...

Yep, and Golic was 15 of 16 - hard to believe.

This has been a chalk tourney, so I imagine quite a few people are sitting pretty right now (1-3 seeds all alive). Several near upsets. I'd say Cleveland State and Dayton qualify as the biggest upsets of the first weekend and those weren't really that shocking. We'll see what happens next weekend and whether or not they still like their brackets.

I got 27/32 and 15/16.
I have Louisville, Kansas, UConn, Memphis, Pitt, Duke, UNC, and OU in the 8,
Louisville, Memphis, Pitt, UNC in the 4,
and Memphis over Pitt final. 79-77.

I would love to see Kansas pull off the repeat after losing all five starters from last year's championship team! I don't want to see North Carolina, Duke or Oklahoma win it.
