Why arent we meeting in a central location, instead of Dallas? why not Austin or San Antonio?:)

Flipped home and home instead of agreeing neutral. Would have liked to see the game played at DKR in Austin, but Texas Stadium will be fine.

Dodge likes to go for the gold. He wants it at home. He like the crowds. If it was away you would expct fewer fans on both sides.

I doubt Dodge would have agreed to play at Darrell Royal Memorial Stadium due to the field being grass and not artificial turf!

coach J lost the coin flip and coach D made a very smart decision by picking texas stadium its home field advantage which is hard to say against katy

I'm thinking less for this game than the Plano/SLC game. It's on TV, the weather will not cooperate, and the local (non-SLC) fans will not come out.
I'm thinking about 28K.

weather wont be a problem, texas stadium is practically a dome, i doubt it even rains or snows anyways

High of 46 with 40% chance of rain. That will keep a few non-SLC/Katy fans away even if they are under cover.

Hey NTxTiger!! Are you going to brave the elements? We thought about going up (in our green and gold of course) but I think we are going to watch in the comfort of our home...we will be watching it though...can't wait.

I agree on weather won't be an issue. If you're too girly(no offense) to skip a KATY VS SLC STATE GAME BECAUSE OF WEATHER... then you deserve to be nowhere close to a high school football game again. I'm guessing 35,192;) Keep that number in mind and watch, I'll be dead on.

The old coin flip: Heads, I win; Tails, you lose.

Good luck to both teams Saturday. Nothing like two great programs over the last few years battling it out at THE DANCE. Again, GL and have a safe drive and fantastic holiday season.

Believe me, if Cy Falls were playing in this game, I would be there if I had to walk through 40 miles of snow barefooted - going uphill both ways;) Since we are not, I will be watching on TV - not because I don't respect Katy (I do and I hope they win BIG) but it's just too far and the weather is too iffy - if it weren't that way, I would more than likely be going to support our neighbors to the west wholeheartedly. I feel no need to stay away from high school football games - I've probably been going to them longer than you've been alive (since 1965).

You go girl! By the way, I'm a female, too. The weather forecast up here for Saturday is showers in the AM and cloudy in the afternoon with the high of only 43 to 49 - depending on which TV station or weather station you tune in. I'm going to be watching the game on TV but if Trinity was playing, I'd be right out there at Texas Stadium waiting for the gates to open. I've got you beat by one year - I started going to high school football games in 1964. Happy Holidays!

It's KTTex. Sure wish you would change your mind about going.

You could have rode the charter bus with us and would have been in good company. You would have had the time of your life with us - you know our group - you met us at the game. You would have been welcomed with open arms!

I would have LOVED that - but $40 was a little steep for me right now with the holidays and all. I actually thought about it and we were pondering it for a day or two but it just didn't work out. I know that would have been the time of my life...I'm envious of you guys:cool:

Al the true Tiger & Dragon fans who can be there will be at the game. I think many football fans not affiliated with the schools will watch on tv due to the weather. A nice day would bring attedance up a lot.

The only reason why I would rather not play at Texas Stadium is because I hear it smells awful!
