No, it's not Big and Rich. I'm talking about the fact that I drive through cities the year that their team wins a state title. Now, I visit a lot of places, but it's still cool that teams win titles after I drive through and I'm talking about the little guys, too. In conjunction with driving through town, I usually see the stadium, too. Since the end of the football season in 2004, I have:

Drove through, lived in, and saw the stadium in Converse.
Drove through Euless and saw the stadium in Bedford.
Drove through Highland Park and saw the stadium.
Drove through Marshall and saw the stadium.
Drove through Wimberley and saw the stadium.
Drove through Gainesville, but DIDN'T see the stadium.
Drove through Newton, but DIDN'T see the stadium.
DIDN'T drive through Argyle OR see the stadium.
Drove through Turkey and saw the stadium.
Drove through Throckmorton, but DIDN'T see the stadium.

Drove through Southlake and saw the stadium.
Drove through Katy, but DIDN'T see the stadium. I have before.
Drove through Corpus Christi and saw the stadium.
Drove through Lewisville, but DIDN'T see the stadium.
Drove through Hutto and saw the stadium.
Drove through Tatum and saw the stadium.
DIDN'T drive through Celina OR see the stadium. I have before.
Drove through Omaha and saw the stadium.
DIDN'T drive through Stratford OR see the stadium.
Drove through Big Sandy, but DIDN'T see the stadium. I have before.

That means I've driven through 17 of the 20 towns in the last year who had teams play for titles this year. I saw 11 of the 20 stadiums they call home. Argyle is the only town I've never been to and I've seen 14 of the 20 stadiums before.

The coming to your city tour returns in January.

While not a contender, this year, Grapevine's Mustang Stadium (our name for it anyway) is just half mile from Dragon Stadium.

So next year when you do the tour - be sure make it around the corner and go by our fine abode.

I asked before the year who was going to pay me to visit their town!:D

I might come through there after I get back from Kyrgyzstan.

Shame on you Lonny! How come you didn't see our 16,000 seat capacity Trinity Mother Francis Rose Stadium? (North Tyler, Close to John Tyler and about 10 miles from Tyler Lee in Mid-Tyler).

But don't hurry because you may want to retire here in Tyler and get to see everywhere, Seriously.

I was only talking about the teams that played for titles in 2005. I went by Rose Stadium a few times this year. I was there in June with my daughters at the Rose Garden. My daughters wanted to watch a wedding and that was when the oldest one, who was still 5, said she wanted to get married!:D

Instead of Where's Waldo, it should be Where's Lonny. Everytime I leave for 4 months, I usually start driving when I get back. I went to El Paso right after getting back last year.

Are we all invited to the wedding Lonny? Or have you proposd to D08 yet? Don't forget your Southlake etiquette. You have to be on one knee when you ask and........I'd like to be a fly on the wall when you ask his dad for his hand!

I'm inviting the whole board, but somebody better have a laptop to post things since Dragons and me will be busy!:p
