Why did I feel disappointed after seeing that? Chris Jones was a nice surprise though.

Mike Davis (Skyline) didn't make the first cut either..That's kind of surprising to me..

You have 6 people in the Top 100!:D
Of course I have 3 thoughts:
1. It's good to know you usually waste talent to a certain degree.
2. You're about to max out signees.
3. Tech is in the running for some of the guys who haven't verballed yet.

Which ones?

My random thoughts on the list:
First off, every year there is a player that just jumps out there as a guy that's just begging to be #1 in the nation. While I think this is overall one of the deepest and best classes in recent memory, it does NOT have that guy I just mentioned. The only guy that really jumps out like that is Jeffcoat. But in the last few years it was a pretty clear cut #1 with Peterson, Claussen, Pryor, then Barkley (he never should've lost it but was hurt by his sr season), etc. This year is different. But here it goes:
-You're right, Mike Davis should've been on there, easily. He's the 2nd best receiver in the state.
-If any OL should have been number 1 in the nation, it was Fluker. Henderson's awesome, but he just seems like Morgan Moses part II, really soft, although he is more of an athlete than Moses.
-Seastrunk is just a TAD bit too high (cue Temple fans). He's a sure fire 5 star, but I just don't see him as 2 in the nation. Hell people that rank Texas for a living have all had Jeffcoat ahead of Seastrunk the whole time.
-Darius White is well deserved at #3. However wasn't Markeith Ambles in the discussion for #1? And then when the rankings DO come out, he's not even a 5 star?
-Lattimore's got a speed issue but he's a solid, solid runningback, same with Jones.
-Jeffcoat: See bit under Seastrunk.
-Jeff Luc is the best linebacker I've ever seen. Although this is the 1st case where I wished there was a smiley of steroid injection. Picture that in your mind, and insert it here.
-Reggie Wilson's evaluations have been all over the map. Personally, I don't like him as much as most. He looks really really slow in pursuit of the ball and isn't much of a hand fighter. He's got some intangibles but he's a long way from being what he's been hyped as IMO.
-Nelson's just right. STUD. He's in that range where he'll pick up a 5th star by Spring's end.
-Blake Bell as the nation's #1 qb? That's a god awful eval imo. There's a reason OU wanted Connor Wood BEFORE they offered Bell.
-What's with the hype on Robert Crisp? His 1 on 1 film wasn't very good yet everyone is saying he looked amazing at the Army combine. Am I missing something?
-Gholston is overrated. It may have been a political thing but David Durham (kid who never wanted to go north) got offered by Ohio State at defensive end before that kid (who's cousin was a draft pick from tOSU.
-Who is Damien Robinson? I LOVE the Michael Oher's of this world but that kid's film was underwhelming.
-Hopkins deserves that spot. Y'all got a steal, Texas fans.
-Nick Demien is one of my favorite linemen out there.
-LOTS of linemen above Jake Matthews, which, as of that last film, I'd say is about accurate. I heard that was just from a couple games and his real film is still not out. I hope so.
-Bible is one of the most athletic defensive tackles I've seen. Certainly got jipped on his ranking. His film is far and away better than McFarland's and yet JaMarcus started out as the #2 player in the nation.
-Chris Jones over DeAndrew White? Um, no. Jones is really, really, REALLY good. But I haven't heard the kind of rave reviews that I have with White. Also both of these guys are ahead of DeMarco Cobbs which I found odd. I had heard Cobbs and Trovon Reed (#14) were on the same level. Guess I heard wrong.
-Espinosa in the 100 is a joke. Sorry Texas fans, but that's just a weird pick. Still a good prospect but imo he should be a NON-Rivals 250 4 star. How in the world did Adam Shead not make it in this, watch the film, Shead is far and away better than Espinosa. Fastest skip puller I've ever seen. Not to mention he has better size. I might even argue that Lindsay is better than Espinosa.
