Early this morning while enroute to Katy Hospital to work, I experienced an unfortunate accident. A full wheel came off of the SUV directly in front of me on the Katy Freeway in Katy. I hit it with the front left tire of my truck immediately causing a blowout and loss of control. After traveling to the left side of the freeway and then to the right, I regained control and pulled off to the right shoulder. Two young boys with Katy Tiger decals on their truck stopped to help me. I got out of my truck in my hospital scrubs. They didn't leave but came over and asked if they could change my flat for me if I had a spare. Still shaken up, I showed them where the jack was. Shortly thereafter a wrecker stopped behind us to provide protection from the traffic approaching us. I don't know who these young boys are but am thankful in such a cruel world we all live in, there still exist people like this. If you ever meet two young boys from Katy High School in a maroon Silverado, tell them I said 'Thank You' once again. :notworthy:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy

That is the kind of young men we were encouraged and in deed expected to be when I was at Katy. It is what makes Katy a successful program in my mind. Wins and Championships will take care of themselves but what endures are the values that are emparted making young men such as those in the maroon Silverado. Good to here you are OK. Sounds like you had an angel on your shoulder.

Great story and thanks for sharing. Those young men deserve an ATTA BOY. Guess they're raising more than rice these days in Katy. ;)

I believe I know the guy that owns that truck. I'll look into it. However, this is Katy and there is more than one maroon silverado in this town;)

Glad you are ok Dude! I hope you weren't late for surgery or something?
