Good job......the talent pool in the area is amazing. A good coach can have sucess there.

How long before 19-5A realigns to include, first Morton Ranch and then Seven Lakes? Hastings and Elsik will eventually, I'm guessing, go to another division.

by divison you mean district:) And as far as i know with Morton ranch coming in next year, no school will being moving districts

Yeah...Elsik and Hastings should be back with the Spring Branch Schools and maybe even Westside. Elsik, Hastings, Alief Taylor, Spring Woods, Stratford, Northbrook and Westside seems to make sense.

That makes a lot more sense than having Spring Woods,Stratford, and Northbrook being in a district with the Aldine schools. As for Westside seeign as they are an HISD school and HISD seems to want to keep all of it's school together i don' know if that could happen. As far as the Hastings coaching job goes te talent is definitely there they just need someone to come in and harness it the way Coach Aymond has done with North Shore. Of course it never helps when your in an area of such rapid growth as the Alief and Katy schools are in.

205a Projected D1 Kempner (very disappointing over-rated season) plays Clements (Katy's first round opponent) tonight at Hall Stadium in MO City. Kemper has Marshall(Strake's first round opponent) Sat. evening. Kempner was rated high in the area for so long, but now finds themselves limping into the playoffs(holds the head to head with Austin just in case) behind these two D2 teams. Katy started their season with a scrimmage at Kemper. Also, from what I understand coach Ferral(Kemper) will be in 195a at Aleif Hastings next year.

There was talk from late Oct to Early Nov about this move. I went back and got this post from a thread I wrote dated Nov.1
