What do y'all of Texas vs. OU playing under the lights?
it would amplify the conditions...especially crowd hostility.
giving the landtheifs more time to drink before the game could asking for a riot.

As much as i like how the game is set up, the game time is one of the two things i would change. I understand that the fair is going on strong at 11, but IMO....who cares. For the thousands at the game, you'd think that they'd want to enjoy their time at the fair, and then have something to look forward to at night. It would also increase ratings (even though they are already through the roof, 11 kickoffs arent the best setup to maximize ratings). 7 pm IMO would be perfect time for kickoff, but i would even settle for a 3:30 kickoff.
Also, and this has absolutely no effect on me (and probably not even the players for that matter), but i think they should make the fans switch sides every year. It would be nice to be able to cheer for the UT players as their immediately walking out of the tunnel, as opposed to having OU on that side EVERY year booing the players.
Just my two cents

I hate waiting all day for a UT game to start... I like BBQing during the day outside in the sun... why change it... what's wrong with a day game... we already changed the Aggy game to a night game on Turkey day....

Not sure about the whole changing the ou game, but the a$m game has history on Thanksgiving night.

They do it during the day because the Cotton Bowl is located in a shady part of Dallas. Do it at night, all the bad boys are out!

The "home" team alternates every year, but the fans have been on the the same sides of the stadium for quite some time, of not forever.

Day game only.....tradition....end of discussion...it was meant to be played under the bright Texas sky so you can fully appreciate the half and half stadium.
