giants
The skins have be rolling, I think they will carry this momentum and win out......Dallas has some momentum to tho, this is a great race.
I think the NFC will be won by the Seahawks, Shaun alexander is so dominate.
I think if the Colts go to the superbowl, which im praying they dont, the Seahawks may take them. I quetion the Colts front 7 a little. Alexander can explode outside the tackles where the Colts ends are a bit undersized and VERY agressive.

Skins and Dallas Sunday will decide that argument. I look for the Colts to win out, including the superbowl.

heres my breakdown..
NFC
nfc east - giants, barely pull it off, they finsih off season 1-2, as do the cowboys..redskins go 2-1
nfc north - bears, i think the bears have enough to make it happen, if vick is hurt, they will beat the falcons on sunday, almost guarenteeing them a spot..they can lose the next 2 games, and beat vikings in the finale, giveing them the divison due to tie breaker rules
nfc south- tampa bay pulls off this one in the last week
nfc wildcard- redskins and panthers

the bears have no offense. kyle orton is terrible and their offensive woes caught up to them vs. pittsburgh. and vick is supposed to play, even if he doesnt practice this week. the falcons have an OK defense that should be able to hold chicago to one td and the usual 2-3 fg's. i look for a low scoring falcons win.

The Bears lack offense that most teams have. I don't even think that they actually know how to use their offense efficiently on big game situations. I see their defense as one of the best in the league besides the Colts who have slowed down a bit. I do think that they might be able to keep that spot if their offense doesn't screw it up. I think that the Seahawks will stay where they're at and clinch the division. Same with the Panthers, they will stay at the top unless their offense slows down and Atlanta pulls an Indy. The AFC will basically stay the same as it has been. The Colts will lock up their division that's a given, I do see the Patriots as a division leader and the Steelers to at least make the wild card with the combination of Roethlisberger to Ward heating up along with the Chargers with that dangerous offense with L.T., Brees and Gates.

By no means would a call kyle orton "terrible". He is just not a big play QB. He is conservative and he generally doesn't get his team into trouble (exception is of course cinncy game). The Bears are reminiscent of the 2001 Ravens with that stingy D and weak O. It is going to come down to the last week agianst Minn.
Either way, Lovie Smith has turned this team around and they will deff. contend for a couple more years. This is alot better team then the 2001 playoff bears.

i dont know, the 01 bears acuttaly had some what of an offense..
kyle orton, doesnt make plays, when needed, the bears need a big play qb..we have a GREAT rb in jones and a GREAT wr in muhmaed, all we need is a qb to fill in the missing link, and we can be talking deep playoff run..orton's problem is he overthrows EVERYBALL, its getting ridiculus every play the ball is up high, he will get somebody hurt if he keeps throwing it like that over the middle

naw you cant do that....What if you start him and hes pitifull? What if they cant win with him? When Orton has proven he can win?
You change your starting QB this late when your winning and tring to win a division.

true, if you pull Orton you will loose the confidence of the entire offense. And that O can't loose anything right now.
There Defense is good enough to maybe get them a 1st rd win, but I don't know about anything else.
Hey d08- you remember who beat your bears in '01? Da eagles
TexasRed6x
12-14-2005, 10:10 PM
I guess I was wrong on that decision. Honestly, I think that Orton has proved himself enough to keep the starting job for the rest of the season an possibly the future. He's only a rookie and is going through some tough pains right now and that's really what rookies generally go through.

Your really dont understand what bellicheck does. HES AN AMAZING COACH.
Look at the patriots DBs. Can you name one of them? I doubt it......BB has slowly molded these New Dbs into good players. The Pats are getting stronger and stronger....
The amazing thing is, the pats are even above .500 with all these injuries....You should really appritiate BB, he is turns undrafted free angents like Gay, into a starter on a World champion team.
So yes, my reasoning, the Pats have the best coaching, and the best QB.

Of course BB is the best coach right now, and has been for the several years. He is an absoulute genious. But they still have way to many injuries. That has been my reasoning for their poor performance all year. If they had Rodney Harrison in particular they would probably have about 10 or 11 wins right now.

The pats defense is almost there, they have the best run stopping D, but damn they sure do give up alot of big plays.

This has to be a joke, how can you possbily be serious right now. You just completly make up stuff and then attempt to change your words.
Wow, and in those 5 games that have played some explosive offenses, such as:
Miami
NYJ
Buffalo
New Orleans
And they are up 26 points to the Cheifs and lost that game. Funny how the only good team that they play, they loose and show no defense.

Yes, i say they are the best defense against the rush. Earlier in the season they didnt have their best 3 run stoppers, not they have 2 of them and are the best......Dawg whats your deal with the Patriots? I know they win alot, but fareal, talk **** about another team, havnt they proven themselves? Dumbasses like you will never learn.

I just don't think it is cool to say that they have the best run stopping D, when statiscally they are slightly above average. But I guess the stats are wrong agian and you are right.
I challenge you to find one person who actually agrees with you on this subject.

The only good RB the Pats have played in the past 5 weeks is Larry Johnson who rushed for 119 yds on 31 carries.
Yeah the Pats have shut down a couple medicore backs lalty, but is that any reason to say that they are the best run stopping defense in the league?
Untill they actually stop a good running team, they are just an average rushing defense.
And you can argue that all you want- but numbers don't lie.
