Haven't heard from you since Katy's last victory. Would like to see your comments on SV game and as well as your predictions of the SLC game?:D

Naw... I won't usually single out individuals unless its for praise (like above)... If I can't handicap the upcoming game and give my reasons why without being personally attacked, or worse yet, get Strake Jesuit (again, I my opinions have nothing to do with SJ, its team, its school, etc) attacked by those that disagree with me or harbor ill will, then this is no more than a clique... I don't like cliques and won't say what you or anyone else wants me to say just to be part of one...

There's other boards... Have fun patting each other on the back all day long, that makes for a very thought provoking forum...
I asked StrakeDrake not to leave. I know he get's under the skin of a lot of Katy fans, but so what. He made the season very interesting in 195a.

I didn't think he was a coach... and everyone knows SJ doesn't recruit... they just enroll freshmen students with athletic and academic abilities...

I didn't care for his leaving either... but if you're going to dish it out, at least hang around for the rebuttle... In my opinion...

i guess my job has kept me busier than i thought. i really did not know a private school was in UIL. and for 2 years at that. did not realize it until falls played them in the playoffs this year. i am going to stay with this year's playoffs and then in the off-season i will post my thoughts on the issue. and i am sure everyone is waiting with baited breath to hear what i have to say.

The Privates are not as much of an issue with me as with others... and it's a long discussion better for next year... I do have great respect for Cy-Falls though... One of the most exciting games this season... Full of emotion on every level... Whew! I'm still tired....

He visits the board every day. He just doesn't post. Thinks the Jesuits are attacked every time someone responds to a post he makes because they are a private school.
I told him not to quit posting and that was a weak reason to leave.

Well, I actually began to see his point on some of the Privates issues... and really enjoyed their games against FBM and Cy-Falls... everyting doesn't have to be one-sided all of the time...

it was equally exciting on our side. i know we lost, but, for the 1st 3 quarters, we were going nuts on our side! i can only speak for myself but, i fully expexted katy to completely run over the eagles. i knew they had the talent, just was beginning to see the spirit over the last few playoff games. i was so excited to finally see the kids show what they had made me start slapping my program against the wall to make noise. outstanding what they did that day against one of the most storied programs in the state. a few mental lapses late in the game. but, take that game and learn!
