I like the quote that one poster has. It says some thing like - Guns; In Texas they are 3rd only to God and Highschool football. I have had the time of my life this season. I listed my most exciting games that I have seen this year. My top 5 are priceless as far as excitement goes. What were some of your most exciting games to see this year?

Great list!! Especially #1, 3 and 4...I was at all three and thought each one was going to be the death of me. I actually hyperventilated at the Katy game!!! Not a paper bag in sight either:) It was a most exciting season for us no doubt...didn't end the way we wanted but exciting nevertheless.

From homer perspective - Grapevine vs SLC...

I know they aren't the same teams of the past, but the Aldine v. Ike game this year was great. Still had the stands packed and went into triple overtime with Aldine winning on a two point conversion. First time Aldine beat IKE since my senior year when we won 6-5. Always a great game, can't wait until next year. :D

It was great. Aldine kicked two field goals and Ike got a field goal and a safety, and they missed a field goal with 16 seconds to go in the game. On top of it being a big rivalry game, we made it our homecoming. 10k+ fans watching, it was great!

well unfortunately i have only seen SL games, so here are my top 3 (since 10 would be stupid and ridiculous)

1. SLC vs. Grapevine
2. SLC vs. Plano
3. SLC vs. Lufkin

Colleyville Heritage gets honorbale mention because I got plenty of satisfaction out of kicking the living daylights out of them. Abilene also gets and honorable mention because that was the best all around performance I've seen in a LONG time.

(1) A&M Consol v. Waco (Consol was down 25-10 with 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter and won 29-25)

(2) Killeen Shoemaker v. A&M Consol (Consol was down 21-0 at the end of the first quarter and won 34-31)

(3) Killeen Harker Heights v. A&M Consol (Harker Heights was leading the game 14-10 with 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter and had the ball with a first down on Consol side of the field; Consol intercepts a pass and drives 82 yard in a minute and half to win 17-14).

(4) Copperas Cove v. A&M Consolidated...Cove won 21-14. Consol's defense gave up 1 TD...but the Cove had an interception for a TD and a block punt for for a TD (both big plays by Tim Atchison).

(5) Copperas Cove v. Lufkin (Floyd Casey Stadium).

(6) Richardson Berkner v. A&M Consolidated (Texas Stadium).

(7) A&M Consolidated v. Euless Trinity (Waco ISD Stadium)

(8) Converse Judson v. Euless Trinity (TV)

(9) The Woodlands v. Consol (SHSU Bower's Stadium)

(10) Pflugerville v. A&M Consol (Waco ISD)

Yea, that had to be the game in Region 1.
Grapevine had the lead at the half and was driving for the winning score with seconds left on the clock but was INT inside the 20.
In case you don't know about Grapevine and Southlake rivalry.

Southlake and Grapevine are divided by steets.
The stadiums are so close you can read the scoreboard at grapevine staduim from dragon stadium.
part of grapevine is in the southlake carroll school district
