President of U.S. So far you have said the smartest thing on this board this week I have heard yet. I have more topics not read in one day than I have ever seen in my life, and every other one says the same stuff! Always about how Katy won 2003, and SLC was 31-0 then and 31-0 now and both have great coaching. YES, WE KNOW. A TEAM WOULD NOT MAKE IT HERE IF THEY DID NOT DESERVE IT!!!!! Some of these Lufkin people get bored really quick. All I can say is , go deeper in the play-offs guys. I have a good friend from Garland that lords it over me about them beating Katy in the '99 state game. But we have won 2 state championships since then and another on the way. That '01 state championship will go stale in time. And just getting to the semi's is, well , just getting to the semi's.

Champions are remembered and 2nd place is relegated to nowhere. Just ask Vince Young.

Yeah it is Lufkin's fault they meet SLC in the state semis instead of the finals. ;) If that was the case Lufkin would have probably been in 4 finals in the last 5 years. Well scratch that Katy won in 2003 so they would have been in 3 of the last 5. That is how the region's are set up there is nothing Lufkin can do about it.
