Anyone heard anything about who Trinity will play in week 0?
Hopefully they will get a game lined up before the end of March.

ya'll should talk to Prepa Tec, Mexico...........

its pretty much a automatic W :D

maybe even put ur JV in ;)

And you should talk to Tech about not playing them, so you can have your bye in Week 2 and play Katy in Week 4. :D

The deal is not done as of two weeks ago. Right now it is supposed to be with a team called the Bingham Miners from Utah. The word is that they really want to play on Friday so they can go to the BYU game in the new stadium. That would knock us out of playing in the new stadium unless Herb changes the schedule since they want Trinity on Monday as a headliner. Bingham has as many or more Tongans as Trinity! We might go 0-3 in non-district!:eek:

yep...they were ducking Allen.....LaMarque.....Sealy......Pearland.....did I miss anyone?:rolleyes:
They scheduled those lower tier teams like North Shore,The Woodlands, FM Marcus and Cy-bay.

That's a pretty lame personal attack considering everyone here took great pride in belittling Allen's win against Prepa Tec last season.

It's pretty lame to come on here and act like you are a dynasty too. Word of caution: the term "everyone" does not apply. Many posters understood what Allen had in store for the season. It will be a good game this year when they meet Trinity again. Do you see Trinity tash talking about it? You won't either. How's it go??/ You get what you give.:Censor:
By the way...you guys set up the game..not "everyone" else.. Would you have had two losses if it were a quality team?

I would say that Allen is an elite team and can be talked about as a contender every year. We (Texas) has a dynasty for several of the Dodge years. Remove them from the mix in those years and you might have several teams that could have won it all!

The kid never said Allen is a dynasty, nor has anyone from Allen ever said or acted as such. I think everyone in Allen is fully aware that one state championship does not a dynasty make. It's a shame that's your preception of Allen, but I won't lose any sleep over it.

Looking forward to meeting Trinity again next season. Should be an exciting game. Can't wait to take on Wylie again too. Next season can't get here quick enough.

Like your poster-buddy recommended...I'll leave the kid alone. Next season should be great for both teams. Trinity is looking forward to the opportunity against Allen. Both teams lost good players and have some work ahead to replace them
I expect a real battle of the beasts. The possible game against the team from Utah, should it happen, should be a great preparation for the season, win or lose.

If it is true that Trinity is going to Utah I hope you represent Texas well. I myself cant wait to see Allen vs. Trinity part 3. Should be as good as it gets in the regular season.

Unless I have it wrong, I understood Bingham (Utah) was coming to Texas.

Thanks for the correction. But wouldnt it be cool if Trinity got to take their Haka to Bingham since they have a rather large population of Tongans there.

I haven't taken offense at anything any Allen posters have said. And, I'm wondering why anyone would think that the Allen vs. Trinity game in week three would be much of a game. We're rebuilding in a huge way; looks like an Allen blowout to me.

I don't think I see a blowout, even with the rebuilding. I'd expect the Allen coach to hold the score down to just a win. Maybe 7-10 points. No need to add fuel to a possible post-season fire.

Not a smoke screen. Major overhaul underway. If we can eek into the playoffs, that will be an accomplishment.

I heard Lineweaver said it was a total rebuilding year and if there was not the contractual obligation he would not even want to play Allen and he hopes ya'll will be able to play .500 ball in district.
