Does anyone have any information about who is applying to become the new Roosevelt head coach? Im a Linebacker and from what I've heard the Clemens coach is applying and the Roosevelt Running Back coach is applying

Why would Farrar jump ship? Clemens should be in a pretty good position next year.

This is the first that I've heard of it. Maybe he is not happy with the admin because from what I've seen and heard, there is a pretty good crop of returning players next year. If he is applying, Roosevelt would be getting one hell of a coach! He's a good guy that the kids absolutely love and would run through a brick wall for.

I won't believe until I read it in the paper or hear it on the news. That wouldn't even be a latteral move. Maybe he feels he can corral the athletic ability at Roosevelt. If someone could, like Duasin did, there is a diamond in the rough over there. But it's already done at Clemens. he has a system that is already in place.

Ferrera ain't going anywhere.
It isn't really cool to start rumors either.
If you post it, make sure it is factual.
After going 10-1 in his first year as a head coach after waiting 20 years to get that job, jumping to Roosevelt, a program that will remain in 5A with tough competition and a good chance of not makin the playoffs each year makes no sense.
Clemens is dropping in classification and should go deep in 4A play-off's for a while.
So.....stick where you been for a long, long time and win at a 4A level on a regular basis
OR
Go to a school that has been in decline and will remain with the other NEISD schools and possibly with SV and Judson.
He can pick what he wants but I would bet anything that he would stay in Schertz.

I wonder if any Judson coaches would apply, I don't think Rackley would jump ship yet, but I wonder with Wagner taking some thunder from Judson if the thought would pass his mind.

I agree with you. Roosy is full of talent, no doubt. He does have the kids' attention at Clemens and it would break their hearts if he left. I surely hope that he stays and takes care of the unfinished business in 4a! We had the talent on at least two teams in the late 90s to win it all and fell short! He was the D coordinator on those teams and had we run an offense that would have incorporated the talent that we had, well who knows what might be on the trophy case shelf right now!

Absolutely not.
Let's not pin the blame on a coach for not getting the job done.
Do not take that route.

Roosevelt is an extremely undisciplined school, whoever coaches there next needs to have brass balls and the patience of a chinese monk to deal with those kids. Hill tried and held it for a long time but in the end, he was too soft on them and they turned their backs on him. If I coached that team their next boot camp would be on par with the navy seals.

Amen. Talent is present. Self-discipline on players part is not. Hill did a good job under the circumstances.

Well he probably wants to stay at a 5A school
