I don't know about Katy, but I would bet they are more built for speed this year vs. 03....as far as Carroll, they have outrushed most of the teams they have played this year....weather, when bad, has historically had little effect on Coach Dodge's teams

I am trying to figure out the last time Carroll lost in bad weather. I know they have not lost in bad weather in 5A.

you really believe that ? I would have to disagree with your comment - I reall a very mediocre Keller team giving SLC all they could handle and the rain being a huge factor last year. Weather effects speed as does the surface - natural grass also effects speed. Not saying that it won't effect Katy too - but it will definitley effect SLC - they can still be successful but it takes a little something away from their attack.

Weather always has some effect..I think it would effect both teams about equally...I have'nt missed many games over the past 10 years or so & a number of them were in the rain, including the Dodge era teams..IMO, it has had little effect. The Keller game to which you refer, was more of an intense rivalry game with a close neighbor than a weather effected game...

weatehr shouldnt realy be a problem this game, there will be no wind inside that stadium

And to think this game could have been played at Reliant Stadium. Best stadium in the country, natural turf, enclosed, taken the elements out of the game. Now the elements might play a major role in who wins the game. The best team does not always win in bad weather.

That might be true but if it rains/snow that will be a bit of a problem don't you think?

Exactly, thats why they need to re-open Alamodome or Astrodome, alternate sites every year or every other year, along with using Reliant Stadium as an alternate site depending on which teams are playing.

Well I guarantee you it ain't snowin!

Wind is going to be little to none, not enough to matter anyway, so the only thing to cause a problem is rain... In four years, I've never been rained on at TS, though, so we'll see.
