North Texas DFW area teams won the 5A and 4A Division 1 championships on Saturday. If Southlake Carroll and Hebron win this week the DFW area will sweep all four of the championships in 5A and 4A.

East Texas doesn't have much to crow about this year. Big Sandy won 1A, and Omaha Paul Pewitt should take 2A D2 - but they play Celina from north Dallas. Dallas takes honors this year if SL and Hebron win - for sure.

Dallas takes honors this year if SL and Hebron win - for sure.The last time DFW won all of the top classifications was in 1963. Of course the classifications and play-off configurations are constantly changing so it's not easy to make comparisions year to year.
