First of all...The flag was on a pass to Jason Witten...not Keyshawn.
And IT WAS holding...Derrick Johnson mugged him while he was running his route.
Dude know what the hell you are talking about before you start running your mouth.
And figure out what team you are going to root for this week.

Lol, alright then. I had got the end of it. But didn't you notice the referee looked to see if the reciever had dropped it or not? And only thew it after he saw the ball on the ground?
It's clear of the teams who I root for - Washington, VTech, A&M, and my school - Reagan. Now, if I watch another game, I'll decide sometime during the game who I want to win - if it's Dallas, I root for whoever's against Dallas.

Hey brainiac...
You ever think maybe he was waiting to see if he caught the ball...because it would have been a touchdown...?
The penalty and the catch/drop happened within 2 seconds of each other.
The fact remains....DJ did hold him while he was running his route.
All of your other commentary is just dumb.
You are really reaching dawg....really reaching.

wide-e-wide, you fished me out. After reading the 5atexasfootball forums
for 2 football seasons, you said the right thing to get me to register. I have
not always been a Cowboy hater, however, the day Jerry Jones stabbed
Tom Landry in the back was the day I became a Cowboy hater. Jerry Jones
is a crued business man, and he knows how to use taxpayers and their money and that is what he is going to do to Arlington residents in a few years. The Chiefs must be snake bit when it comes to playing in Dallas.
I puked 3 times watching that game. The first time was with 1:05 remaining
in the half with Trent Green getting sacked and fumbling. Why didn't Vermeil call for a handoff to Larry Johnson? The second time when rookie Derrick
Johnson got caught holding. I will let him slide since he is a rookie, but he
had better start producing next season. And third, the missed field goal.
I emptied my stomach on that one. The truth of it all though is the Chiefs
weak defensive backfield. They couldn't cover a bed if they were blankets.
Maybe they can trade up in the draft and make Michael Huff their first pick
this off season.

I don't want to complain, but I am an upset cowboys fan after they haven't used Jason Witten as much as they did last year, and he put up big numbers having 87 Receptions for 980 yards an 6 TD compared to this years 57 receptions for 657 yards an 4 TD's with 2 games left. I know that you have to spread the offense around, but I have not seen Witten have 2 big back to back games. He's good one week and forgotten the next. I am not tryimg to whine about it but I'm just saying that I'm disappointed with him this year, and he's one of my favorite players.

Sacred Ground....
I know a lot of fans that left the Cowboys corner after Jerry fired Landry.
That's too bad...I hated Jerry for a long time for that. I don't exactly love him right now...But I had to let all that go.
I saw an interview with Coach Landry just prior to him passing away...He was a very humble Christian man. He said he wished nothing but the best for the Cowboys and their owner. And added that he had no hard feelings towards Jerry Jones....wow!
I figured if the guy in the funny hat could forgive him...so could I.
But I understand where you are coming from.
Welcome to the board.

I don't know if your kids remember those events around the Landry firing much, but take it from an old guy who watched the Cowboys back in the early 60's, it was time for Landry to retire and he wasn't going to admit it himself. As great as he was, the game had passed him by and he was too regimented in his ways to change with the game. His offense and defense had been figured out years before and he was just too dang stubbborn to admit it. Schramm just couldn't do it to him....they were too good of friends and had fought the wars........so to speak. Yes, Jerry did it the wrong way, and I believe he regrets doing it the way he did. However, it was a necessary thing to do to get the Cowboys back on track......and the proof is in the 3 Super Bowl wins.
Don't hate the Cowboys just because Jones made a mistake. We all make mistakes. Jerry made his and now forgive him and move on. Cheer for your Cowboys and enjoy it.

It took me a long time to get over Jerry's tactics and longer to get over his new face.
But I never gave up on the Cowboys.

Remember last year Jason wasn't expected to make that big of an impact so they were covering him with just a linebacker. But now that defenses realize what he can do they cover him with a safety or he gets double coverage from the linebacker and safety. He is still a good TE he is just much more respected now. Don't give up on him just yet.

Yeah, I guess your right. I am trying to be as patient as I can, but when they really need those short passes, they usually go to one of their big guns. I would like them to get Witten involved as much as possible.

They can't be fair and be a man (or woman). If you want to bash a team, you should also praise them for their good deeds.

I have a VCR tape that covers the events of the last few Landry years and the firing as it was reported on WFAA Channel 8. Paul Hackett was hired away from the 49ers to be the Offensive Coordinator around 1985 or 1986 with the idea he would move in as the head coach in a few years when Landry retired. Tom never quit and Hackett moved on to another job. The times had passed Landry up. The computer scouting that Dallas started was now done by every team and they didn't have the advantages they used to have. They no longer had real good QB's and the team depth was depleted. Bad drafts did not help, either. Schramm was not going to fire Tom and neither was Bum Bright.
I always said Jerry did the right thing firing Landry, but he handled it wrong. Jerry has been a pretty honest guy over the years and he made some mistakes early on that he has learned from over time. I loved that interview on 20/20 back in 1989 when he said he was going to run everything with the Cowboys "from socks to jocks." The funniest thing in the interview was when he talked about Aikman and said he "wanted a QB that looks good in the shower." He was just trying to say he wanted a QB that had a good NFL build, but it sure sounded bad!:p
