Late first half- score tied at 20. Jacobsen with almost perfect coverage. I wasn't there - was this a play people will talk about years from now? The guys on the radio called it as best they could but I need a little more first hand account....

it was a fantastic catch...i was right there on the sideline next to the endzone. it was pure brilliance, diving forwards looking behind his shoulders in mid-air for the ball. somehow he hangs on. it was definitely worthy of praise, but to be named "the catch"...definitely not

it was a good catch, but it wasn't late from behind. I don't think itll become that famous.

that catch happend right in front of me, i was standing right on the track when that happend in the back of that endzone, man it was a beauty..

something interesting on mckay in the Star Telegram, saying how hes playing every game as if its his last (which could be every playoff game) but saying how the coaches see that determination in his eyes and he just gets even better every week

I assume Will and McKay will be playing this one as if it were their last game...

I thought this was a thread about Dwight Clark and Joe Montana...
I almost smashed my computer with a sledgehammer.

unless they move will to safety, he'll be watching from the cat bird seat like everyone else. lp tried their all-state cb at safety, but i suspect that was more a concession to his injury than an attempt to slow mckay. wasn't very successful either way, though.

The beauty of McKays catch was that he laid out fully and was able to roll his body before he hit the ground to keep from landing on the ball and possibly knocking it out..everybody around me was chanting McKay, McKay, McKay, just like Luna last year when he planted Ayers in the end zone....just a great catch...

us saxophoens did that a few times this year, (chanting mckay mckay mckay) but we did it to the tune of ole ole ole ole, ole, ole...it fits nicely

That was and is the only game i actually cried after. I was about 8 though. I was sick!! My dad was teasing me because he hated the cowboys but when he saw my in tears he felt very bad. He did make me love the Steelers and i am a fan to this day. So i bet i am the only one that loves both the Cowboys and the Steelers on this earth. We lived in Pennsylvania for a couple of years and he became a big steeler fan and brain washed me. ;)

Will is a safety...he got moved from corner to safety his junior year but still plays alittle corner here and there when he is starred up on a specific receiver
