Who is number 71? Great player...I met his parents after the game. Great people. With the team pride on both sides you can feel the hurt, when a team looses. The whole year is gone. That game could have gone either way.

Thanks SVite. Glad you came back and I don't think the crow was that bad. SV played a tremendous game and showed why they made it to the final four. No shame in that. All figured they had an equal chance to get to state and take home the hardware. Well it is down to two and only one can claim the prize. Congrats to your team and all for such a fine showing!! :cool:

Class SVite. I had predicted a very close and great game. What I saw was a QB not hitting wide open receivers for SV and Katy self destructing with penalties, errors and a change in their usual game plan. In the end, it came down to your pounding offense against a stubborn defense and on that day the Katy defense won. Dont thing the outcome proved much either way. Katy might have won but both missed many opportunities. Both are better than what I saw on Saturday. I think the two were pretty evenly matched just as I thought they would be. SV was gracious in defeat I must say. Had dinner with quite a few SV fans and they were class all the way. Team congratulated Katy with a lot of grit. SV would probably win half the games played against Katy. I call what I saw on Saturday just plain "UGLY" football. Not the best by either. Ugly better find a hole to hide in next Saturday cause I dont think Ugly wins this one.
