The aisles off the main walkway down to the lowere seating are numbered 1 - 30. if you walk all the way around the stadium, you'll see em all. they start over at what I believe is the West end, right in the middle, under the Cowboys Club and I figured that would be the easiest. Look at the stadium map I included the link for, & you'll see what I mean. I don't care though..

You've got to take a left on Carroll..it is about 1/2 mile down on your left in a strip center..Po Melvins

just got off the cell with mel, and there's nothing scheduled for friday(last year there was a riverwalk themed feed) so if families need to eat and greet, they serve all day and til at least 2300. i disremembered when i started this fandango that i won't get off work until 2200, but i'll just go directly to mel's(10 minutes away). i'll catch up if necessary. looking f'ward to putting faces to names, even with some of the slc breatheren.

it's nw highway, and there are some strip bars and liquor stores around, but some good restaurants nearby too. there's also a public gun range if the urge hits. don't think you're more likely to have trouble there than many other places in dallas.

Well, we had no Katy folks tonight, but ddaddy, farmerfan, dragons08, yankeeman and myself were holding court about all things HS Football at Po Melvins tonight...along with "Big Mac" celebrating son Gregs 5-A Offensive Player of the year award.....good to meet the guys & have a face to match with the poster! Hope to see some of the Katy folks at the stadium tomorrow!

it was definately a sight to behold. I would love to make it out there again and talk some football with the dragonnation. Everyone I talked to was more than welcoming to me and my maroon and white and even talked some Lewisville football. It was an honor to meet Mr McElroy and have a beer with him as well. Something tells me this wont be my last venture into the greatness that is Po Melvins.

Sorry I didn't make it guys. I rode up to Irving with a group and we went out together at Joe's Crab Shack. Then on game day I was one of the guys that was working on the railroad. I was helping the lead guy pull while I tooted the horn. I'm so famous.
The whole experience of a road trip, staying with a group of rabid Katy fans in a hotel and participating in the game was great. I can't wait to do it again!

road trips have their pros and cons IMO

i like going on a long trip with friends where we just goof around and talk and stuff for hours and catching a great game

i just hate it when we dont draw near as many people (Lufkin Game) as we should and how it takes away from me posting :D (i guess thatd be a pro for you guys)
