Last time Katy and SLC played it was an epic game, probley one of the best games ever played. The Dragons were on a 31 game stomping streak and the Tigers had a tradition of pride and excellence. Katy stopped there 31 game winning streak and gave Carrol there first and only loss. This week, Katy still playing with pride and showing there potential of excellence. Southlake still crushing teams with and over whelming passing attack and a solid defence. And once again SLC has won 31 staight games. Both teams are Greatly coached and are powerhouses so can this game shape up to be like the 2003 game. And will Katy once again stop Carrol from there 32 straight win. This will be a war and im excited.
Go Katy win state!!:D

Amazing similarities...31 games, Katy, 62-1 in 5A, what's the differences? Katy is coming to Texas Stadium. The Dragon defense is much better. Katy's offense will be tested. Looking forward to this game. Thought we had it last year until Clear Lake intervened by beating Katy early on. History will repear itself. That is SLC will win state just like it did in 02 and 04. How many programs have come into a new classification and immediately play in 4 state championship games? 1 -- Southlake Carroll Dragons. Now it's time to win the third 5A crown in 4 years. See you Sat.

Agreed, these are two very different teams from 2003. It should be a battle royal though, just like 2003. I live in Pennsylvania now but I will definitely be there at Texas Stadium on Saturday. I could not possibly miss this one win or lose. Congratulations to two outstanding teams and programs.
But I must say it.....GO TIGERS!!
