This is an open invitation to all Plano fans to come out to Texas Stadium on Saturday to not just watch, but cheer with your fellow metroplex fans from Southlake. Carroll plays Grandioso too and you can bring your paws. You are truly some of the best fans in football and if Katy is anything like they were in the fan support department as they were a couple of years ago, Carroll will need all the help that they can get. Again all Plano/metroplex fans please come out and support the Dragons this Saturday.

Farmerfan, you can come too.

I wanted to watch a Trinity game but with school and work it wasn't going to work out. But I'm free this weekend to make a trip down for the big game...where's everyone gonna sit? My wife and son will be in Hawaii as well leaving me free to watch my favorite past-time...HS football

As long as Plano fans don't bring that dumb Wildcat Roar Machine, I think it would be great to see a big crowd at Texas Stadium on Saturday. SLC's fans will need help if they plan to match the volume of Katy's crowd.

I have to admit to having a soft spot for Katy. I respect their program and coach. I remember Plano and Katy in the 1994 state championship.

However, I was very impressed by SLC’s team and fans. This Wildcat fan will be at TS this week to cheer on SLC!

As for the paws, those are reserved for my favorite team only.

is this a desperate plea or what?

No...the metroplex teams stick together. We have all supported Trinity and Highland Park through their playoff runs and expect that many of their fans will come support us this weekend...since they have accomplished their goal. I have several Plano friends that plan on wearing green and supporting the Dragons this week!

The D/FW Metroplex dominates high school football! :D

Katy will bring alot of people. I was at the 94 State game in College Station and they out numbered Plano fans 2-1. It was Bone A** cold that day. That was Plano's most dominate State Championship game ever by the way.

I'll be watching the game on TV. Still not over the loss to SLC. Plano was so close. Had they squeaked by i have no doubt they would of been state champs this year.

I just can't take it sitting with SLC this soon after such a emotional loss. :(

GO Dragoons!!

you need to return to the recesses of history to a cold night at baylor stadium in 1967 for the most dominating plano finals win. sa randolph had no answer for plano's speed. alex williams was on his game that night.

Frist of all get the Wilcat machine name right, the correct name is the "Cat Cart".

Second this game is not about Plano its about the SLC Dragons, and I wouldn't miss this game for all the tea in china.

This is going to be a great re-match between the Dragons and Tigers and I will be seated in the Dragon Nation side hoping they pull it off.

Sorry Houston its all about area representation at this point.

D1 and D2 state titles belongs to the Metroplex.

27-8 vs 28-7. Both games Plano dominated Time of Possesion and ran the ball like a hot knife goes through butter.

OK it's a tie. Both games PLANO WAS EQUALLY DOMINATE:)

The adjective is DOMINANT.

DOMINATE is a verb.

Nothing personal, but this is about the 1000th time I've seen this mistake on these boards and my wife's an English teacher, so yeah.

I get tired hearing about Southlake from my co-workers but I like the team and coach. It'll be a tough call who to root for.

I will be rooting for the Dragons as well, but like you I can't don the Green I will be flying my Maroon proudly.

Of course if the Tigers come out whipping the Dragons I could jump on the Katy bandwagon, I mean I have nothing to loose.

Just kidding...i am pulling for the Dragons as Katy beat them and I hate Houston with a passion, the arm-pit of America.
