Trinity Trojan Fan For Li

Lonny, you missed a great game today - wished you could have been there. Fans started getting to the stadium so early, we didn't have to pay the $3.00 parking fee because no one was on duty to collect the money. The lines to get in were getting so long they had to start letting the fans in early. The stadium was packed. Both sides were yelling. Both schools' alma mater was played. Trinity came out and performed the Haka, then ran through their Trojan tunnel to enter the field of competition with the school fight song playing. Judson ran through their sign unto the field with their school fight song playing. Judson won the toss and deferred to the second half. Then before you know it, it's Judson 14 - Trinity 0. Uh oh and cuss words! Then Trevor Vittatoe settles down and gets to work. Half time 14-14. Trinity's drill team performs but the band doesn't even go on the field because about half of them were back home competing in Regionals. The Judson's drill team and band performs - good show. Second half starts and after that, history is made for Trinity. Then the celebration starts on the field - both teams hear their school song played for the last time this year. Trinity gets the trophy and does the Haka again. More cheering and merriment by the Trinity fans - yours truly included. Then it takes us almost two hours to get out of the friggin' parking lot. While we were waiting, I was able to get my picture made with the trophy. Then the long drive back to D/FW. We wanted to stop in Waco to eat but everything was too busy so we ate at Rio Mambo in south Fort Worth. It was voted the best Mexican food restaurant in Fort Worth. Food was delicious but the frozen margarita was to die for!
Over all, a great day - wish you were there.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! I got an early Christmas present today.
